Everyday low prices on a huge range of new releases and classic fiction. Review: Heart wrenching and inspiring - This book is an emotional rollercoaster but one of the best reads of the year for me. So well written and emotive. Review: One of my top reads of 2024 - A Thousand Broken Pieces. The title of this book is perfect for its storyline. I knew I would need tissues before I started reading and it only took a few pages into the prologue before I was reaching for them. I’ve recently given my son’s girlfriend a copy of A Thousand Boy Kisses (with a box of tissues) and am pleased that I now have a copy of A Thousand Broken Pieces to give to her too. I’ll never forget the impact that Poppy and Rune’s story made - it hurt my heart so badly. I am so very thankful that Ms. Cole has shared Savannah’s journey following events that happened in ATBK. I feel the author has penned this story perfectly. It is heartbreakingly beautiful. Very thought-provoking, and wonderfully healing too. I love the way Tillie Cole brought Savannah, Cael, Jade, Lili, Travis and Dylan together. Each of them is going through the same trauma - walking along similar paths - yet each journey is very different. I feel that the way their grief and battles are portrayed were handled with sensitivity and care. Every person’s journey is individual, and I recognised some of my own in each of theirs. ATBP may have been difficult to read at times because of the sensitivity of the storyline. However, it is one story that I wouldn’t have missed for the world. I experienced so many different emotions whilst reading this story. I absolutely loved witnessing Sav and Cael together. Their journeys may have made my heart hurt for them at times but they brought much warmth too. There is so much that I will take away from this story, even though I’ve already been on this path of healing for a number of years now. I couldn’t award ATBP anything less than the 5 stars I feel it deserves. Thank you, Tillie Cole, for this beautiful and touching story. One of my top reads of 2024.

Make sure you have some tissues handy
This book was the sequel to A Thousand Boy Kisses. It’s not the genre I would typically pick up, but the first book (which I enjoyed) was given to me by my niece, so I had to read the sequel. A Thousand Broken Pieces follows the characters of Savannah and Cael. In case you haven’t read the first book I won’t say too much. But this book is about grief. It’s about how we deal with grief and how it affects us all at some point in our lives. It was a touching book, which was at times a tear jerker. I loved the two main characters and I liked the way in which their characters grew throughout the book. My only niggle was the way in which the MMC had a ‘pet’ name for the FMC, the same way that Rune did for Poppy in the first book, which after a while, became annoying. But other than that, I really enjoyed this book. In fact I think I preferred the sequel.

Mixed feelings
Beautiful story, don't get me wrong, very emotional and very touching. However, found it predictable from the start and the story went on & on without much movement. Really struggled to finish

The most wonderful love story
A story of love, grief, endurance and happiness, captured and told in the most heartfelt way. A wonderful follow on from A Thousand Not Kisses. I challenge you not to cry.

Oh my heart, y'all, wow. Just wow. I knew this one would ruin and wreck me and leave me a sniffling mess, but still, I was. Not. Ready. Not by a long shot. I’ve never quoted a Dedication before, but when it starts like this, you know you’re in for it: “For those who have lost a loved one, I walk with you. For those who have lost a piece of their heart, I hold your hand. For those who don’t know how to move on, I pray this book gives you solace.” The simple fact of life is, the longer we live, the more loved ones we lose, and I’ve lost my share. Still, I pulled up my big girl britches and dove in. I lived – unapologetically, wholeheartedly, and completely – in this story. I’m not at all an emotional reader, but this one forced its way through all my defenses, and I held on tight attempting to withstand the poignant battering. But then I gave in. I gave up. I just was. Utterly, entirely in the story. Unsurprisingly, this masterful, gifted storyteller gives us beautiful prose brimming with tender sentiment, profound insight, and sage wisdom. And the emotional impact is as stunning as it is unforgettable. This one will rip your heart to shreds, ruthlessly stomp on the pieces, and then carefully, patiently, perfectly mend it. Let's be real. There's no way to protect your heart from this one, and if you’re anything like me, you'll go heedlessly charging in. Please though, be kind to yourself. Give yourself grace. Set it aside if you need to but then let yourself wholly live in the vast constellation of emotions. If you’re blessed enough to never have lost someone vital, you’ll have greater understanding of that loss after traveling this road with Savannah and Cael. And if you have known devastating loss, hopefully you'll feel a little less alone and a little more healed after this experience. One thing's for certain. It's impossible to read this and come out on the other side unchanged. Maybe a little more broken yet carefully pieced back together, but all the more beautiful for it. Don’t miss this story of exquisite grace, stunning beauty, and profound wisdom
