SEAVEESMen's 08/63 Hermosa Plimsoll Standard Tennis Shoe

I needed a new, casual canvas shoe because Mountain Creek discontinued my favorite shoe. And, there aren't (m)any good-looking options on the market that don't have a 3" sole or some weird folded fabric line.And, I stumbled upon the SeaVee's Hermosa. After looking through pictures, reading reviews, and checking out other sites, I decided to try them.The shoes are solid... They look very nice and the color (tan) is actually a little lighter than what is depicted in the product pics. I was happy about this. Not a fan of darker tan/beige shoes and can't keep white shoes clean, but I couldn't find another shoe that looked good (subjectively).The only somewhat-negatives: the shoe is super low cut, so it sits below the ankle. I wear these with jeans and pants, so I wish they were a little taller. But, I knew this when I bought them, so I can't take a star away. The other slight issue is I can tell the "toe" will wrinkle, crease, or look wavy quickly because its alreadystartedafter 3/4 hours of wear time. But, when there aren't any other options on the market, and since Mountain Creek discontinued my favorite shoe, what can you do?Overall, I'm happy with my shoes. The shipping was much faster than Amazon initially stated, by, like, 5 days. The shoes seem well-built but I can't speak on it too much yet because I've only had them for a couple of days. The color is great, fit is true to my size, and they look good with jeans (and, presumably with shorts).

Love these shoes. Fit well, look great and they’re SeaVees! A much overlooked brand. They’re built well and should last at least ‘til I get tired of them. Since I can’t get that other brand’s “Champions” anymore, they’re better than a replacement. A sharp loafer style shoe that won’t go out of style.

Fit just like a pair of vans. Initially a little more stiff, but wear in nicely. The canvas on them is nice and the rubber soles don't bow outward like some other shoes. Overall nice quality and shoe for the price.

These sneakers SQUEAK, EXACTLY the same pitch as a SMOKE DETECTOR CHIRP warning beep. 5 stars.. haha.. they look and feel great too. I ended up wearing them long enough to need new shoe laces for them. still in use.

Super nice casual shoe that you can wear in warmer weather. I usually wear size US 11, but the 11 1/2 is the way to go...it is tight but comfortable. I have owned a pair of these before, so I knew this when ordered, but recommend everyone order 1/2 size larger.

The bottom line: The construction is just not up to par with Vans. Plain and simple. Had mine for about 4 months now and the interior is falling apart...they've also started having this squeaky sound occasionally. That's just not acceptable for the price range.These would get 1 star if not for their looks. They honestly look so cool. *just* enough class to wear to work at my business casual office (our president even has a pair of these). Keep them clean on the outside and they'll be your most versatile shoes.If you see these on a good sale, get them (I have the off-white pair). But don't pay full price for these unless you have money burning a hole in your pocket.

Great color, great quality, and a great price. I didn't find the size to be on the small size at all.

Bought for my husband and he loves them. Great non marking sole so he’s able to wear on our boat.

Fits true to size

Look great, very comfortable and breathable. However, the build quality is definitely lacking. All of the lining in both heels of my pair is worn away after just a few months of infrequent use. Would not recommend these based on how fast they deteriorated.
