Doesn’t alter the effectiveness of my prongs. These caps don’t slide off either- perfect fit. Easy to put on. Didn’t need to warm them with a hairdryer either.

Helps to heat up before applying
Exactly what we ordered. The caps were to try and lesson the abrasions caused by the bare prongs on my 95 pound lab/boxer/pit mix. He has issues with other large dogs and can be difficult to handle. These caps helped lessen the abrasions, but did not completely eliminate them and the correction level is now evidently bearable for him to the point where we had to stop using the prong collar as a deterrent/control method.Caps are very sturdy and I recommend heating them up for an easier install. We soaked them in hot water for a few minutes and they applied smoothly and easily.Highly recommend this product if your dog will heel to minor levels of correction.

These are great and work well
These are great and work well..except that they seem to come off my pinch collar very easily - so I have lost a lot of them

Cheap and poorly made. Not useable.
Unable to use. The HermSprenger collar alone had smooth, round tips. These plastic tips were very poorly made. They are sharp. They are not useful to put over the rounded tips of the collar to soften them. They would hurt the dog and possibly pierce the skin.

Works as expected
The tips fit perfectly and were what I needed. I didn't like that the shipping cost more than the product itself. I should have looked closer when ordering.

Perfect collar with help from dog trainer
This collar should only be used when a professional dog trainer fits and shows the owner how to use it. That's what we did. I no longer do battle with our young Alaskan Malamute on our walks. She used to jump at me, bite the leash, pull be down on the ground, to name a few issues we had. Now, using the collar properly, we walk farther and it has been wonderful to enjoy our time together on our walks.

Does not scratch my neck anymore.
Goes on the spikes to cover sharp edges and tips. Fits tight. Comes with spares.
