Though millet is a great replacement for rice it seems to have fallen out of favor. I eat it because my grandmom made it a lot - but most people I run into haven't had it before. Always soak your millet about 30 minutes then drain in a fine mesh sieve before cooking. Use it as a great side dish, or cook with more water and longer to make a hot porridge for breakfast - adding your cream and fruit. Millet has great health benefits like high fiber, protein, magnesium, calcium, iron and antioxidants. First time using this brand, but it cooked up light and fluffy and with a mild taste.

Have never eaten finger millet before, so I don't have any comparison. However, the quality seemed very high, well sorted without debris. It's a great source of fiber and I'm going to have to order some more soon!

⭐☆☆☆☆ Disappointed – Wouldn't Cook No Matter What I TriedI really wanted to like finger millet, but unfortunately, my experience was frustrating. No matter how long I tried cooking it — stovetop or rice cooker — it just wouldn’t cook properly. I even followed the instructions on the bag exactly, but it remained hard and inedible. I gave it several attempts, hoping to make it work, but nothing helped. In the end, I had to throw out the entire bag, which was very disappointing. Maybe I got a bad batch, but this was a waste of time and money for me.

The product is good.But it is very expensive.

I have used one pack so far. Easy to cook in the rice cooker. Comes out well! However, no where on the packet does it say that it is organic although it is listed as organic. For that reason, I am giving it 3 stars.
