Best screen protector I've used
It's expensive, but this is definitely the best screen protector I've ever used. Following the video, it is easy to apply, and fits the phone great. Picture quality with it on is perfectly clear, it's near-impossible to tell the difference. The adhesive even fills pre-existing scratches and makes them virtually invisible. It's quite thick for a screen protector, and there is a clear ridge around the edge of the screen where it ends, but it is hardly enough to worry about, and would most likely be barely noticeable with a case as well. All in all, maybe not worth £40, but if you can stretch to that, it is a brilliant product.

Not so... Fantastic product in every way.
Update to the review below: I've now been through 2 of these screens, both having cracked in the same places and not having dropped or misused the phone at any time. £90 wasted.I was apprehensive due to the cost but after installing it tonight couldn't be happier. It's almost over engineered, amazing to see something that works so well. Easy to install and perfect results, the screen itself fits amazingly. Couldn't imagine better.I've been though so many plastic ones that the price is absolutely justified.

Very good - even as someone who messed up twice along the way!
Looking around for screen protectors for the 2XL seems to be a bit of a nightmare. Between poor reviews, dot matrixes, and worries of cracking or damaging the screen below, it really did seem like this was the only option even though it is very expensive. Luckily this one seems to be very good. You get everything in the box that's as described but before you set out on installing this protector do watch videos online, read the manual and then maybe watch some more videos to get an idea of what to do. It is very daunting at first glance between frames, bottles of glue, bridges and a UV light. The truth is it is very hard to mess things up if you follow along and double check things along the way. I managed to mess up the installation twice, costing me the two bottles of glue included and perhaps not a perfect finish all the way around some of the edges. The first was forgetting to centre the glue AFTER it was applied to the screen, causing bubbles and the glue not completely spreading evenly. The second was letting the glue get away from me and drip too far down due to an uneven surface (saved by just tilting the phone as best I could back to the centre) and forgetting to wipe the residual glue from the edges after the first cure.Even after those two nightmares after 2 days since application the protector isn't showing any signs of lifting and a perfect look all round beside the bottom left corner where my application does seem jagged around the very, very edge - possibly due to not cleaning the glue after the first application as told to do in the manual. I've tried to clean it up with some alcohol wipes and even a microfibre but have given up now in fear of damaging it further so be warned! All in all, I'm happy so far. The choice was between paying £10 - £15 for other screen protectors and possibly buying more down the line, losing some sensitivity to the screen and the worst outcome being the screen lifts or cracks after some use.Time will tell but with the option of buying more glue for re-application, as long as it isn't cracked I hope this screen protector will last the test of time.

Expensive but very good
Yes it is expensive but it is the only protector (glass or plastic) that seems to work with the Pixel 2xl. Application has a few steps but if followed it applies perfectly. Looks great when using and there is no loss of sensitivity when using the phone.

Started off brilliant but has since disappointed. Too expensive for the issues I've had and ... what warranty??
Edit: I have to update this review as I have since had some issues. My screen protector was great for about a month. I always carry it around in my pocket with nothing else in and it has definitely not been dropped nor used with a case that did not conform to their requirements. One day I took it out of my pocked and one of the corners of the protector had cracked. I contacted support and they have been very good but eventually directed me to their lifetime warranty page to get an RMA replacement. I was disappointed to hear their warranty replacement cost $23.50 (over £15) to cover 'postage'. It duly arrived the next day with a UK postage cost of £1.25 and in a good cardboard box. It seems clear to me that the £15 actually covers the postage and likely more than the actual cost of the replacement screen so the warranty side is not exactly what I had imagined. Since this, I have not replaced the screen protector yet, but another corner has developed a similar crack on the edge. I am now questioning the long term quality of this item. It's too expensive to recommend wholeheartedly now with the issues I have had with it.This is a brilliant screen protector. Really brilliant. Feels high quality. Touch and visibility through the protector are first class. Great oleophobic coating. Lovely feel under fingers. There are two reasons for me marking it down.1) cost. It is a ridiculously expensive really.2) thickness. It is a bit thicker than you'd imagine. I don't know know what the actual thickness is but the protector with the adhesive I reckon is between 1 & 2 mm. It definitely feels it sits on top of the screen. The installation process is fiddly but you can just need to be patient and give it time to make sure you know the steps and what you need to do.I blame Google. Really, I'd rather have a screen that is designed to be less difficult to put a screen protector on. The Pixel 2 XL is dreadful for this. Too many curves for cheaper options.

Tried the rest, get the best
So I purchased just about every other crappy screen protector out there. The problem is the curve on the Pixel 2xl. With curved screens you don't have much of a choice. Either you have a vynil or PET protector that will bend over the curved edge or you buy this protector. Glass will not match the profile of the edge perfectly, hence the reason all the curved protectors out there are made with some sort of system to adhere only to the edges with a dot matrix to allow touch sensitivity. They only work kind of and have all sorts of other problems. Flat glass protectors won't stick to the curve either so you get a Halo effect around the perimeter. I have a skinomi vynil protector but I have yet to install it. That will be my last resort if this thing somehow fails. Now on to my review. The protector is fantastic so far. I messed up the first install because I panicked. I took my time and set everything up perfectly. Then when I put the glass on over the adhesive I tipped the holder but I didn't let the adhesive go far enough down before pulling the key out. What happened was there appeared a spot where the two glasses kind of stuck with a rainbow effect. The adhesive spread completely around this Halo of rainbow on the lower portion of my screen. Panicked I tried to push adhesive into that spot. ( Ignoring the instructions.) Well once I had created bubbles and messed it up, the adhesive actually filled in the rainbow area. If I would have been patient I think it would have been fine. Since I had to clean the glass and set everything up again, I ended up with a few very minor bubbles in the second go round. I cleaned and cleaned, but I missed getting the glass as perfect as it was the first time. So my advice, when you push the tray down allow the adhesive to go to the Midway point before pulling the key. And if you mess it up and have to do it again, really take your time and clean the glass thoroughly. The product is actually really well thought out. They give you everything to be successful. Sure the instructions are more complicated than any other protector, but it is an actual solution to the curved screens problem. The little masking tabs for the speaker grills are made to fit the plastic box, I mean, such a simple solution, but a detail that I'm glad they thought of. This is a top flight product. Some complain about the price, but if you look at everything they send it's no wonder. You get the jig for putting everything together including a UV light. So the high price point isn't much of a concern given this is the only glass protector for the Pixel 2xl that has a chance of working. I'm really not bother about the protector not covering the curved edge. I use a case most of the time anyway, so I don't touch the edge ever. In fact I would have been plenty happy if the 2xl came with a flat screen that a normal protector would have stuck too.As to why some reviewers have had bubbles show up during the cure time. I can only speculate, but my profession requires me to use chemical and UV cured coatings. This adhesive is a little different chemically, but the principles should be the same. If you over catalyze a product the product itself can create gassing. This is done Ina chemical process by adding too much catalyst. The reaction occurs too quickly, either trapping or creating errant gas bubbles. In a UV process this can happen. As well if the product is cured too quickly. This is usually controlled by the formulation (how quickly it reacts to UV light). The instructions state to put the light over two areas for only 15 seconds. Then to remove the light, clean the edges of any excess glue and then to reapply the light for another 60 seconds. If the short cure, or the first 15 seconds is extended, the result could be a reaction the occurs too quickly, causing the adhesive to crawl or bubble. This may, I stress, may have contributed to the bubbles found by other reviewers. I also noticed the the printed instructions have upped the time from 45 seconds, shown in the video, to 60 seconds on the long cure, or the second time you cure the adhesive. I assume this may be to combat what another reviewer experienced with scouring if the adhesive as dust invaded beneath the glass. It may be a result of the adhesive not being fully cured. My advice would be to follow the instructions to the letter, especially when it comes to the short cure. ( I actually cured the adhesive in the long cure for 60 seconds in two areas, then came back and cured slightly offset for another 60 seconds. I'm not recommending it, but I didn't want to suffer failure for improperly cured glue.)So far, I give this protector my full support.

Pricy but worth it!...
This purchase could have gone two ways, 60$ investment or 60$ in the toilet. I'm still a bit shocked that I spent so much on a screen protector but considering the prices of devices these days, I wanted to make sure it had quality protection and for a long time. Note that I did watch a lot of youtube videos on reviews and tutorials to reassure myself before purchasing this item,I suggest you do the same. So lets talk about the "pros". The liquid adhesive is what makes the difference in my opinion. The curing time is fast and when well applied it makes the protector practically invisible, no seems on the side. No bubbles too. The screen responsiveness and clarity is amazing. No effects on the selfie cam which is underneath the protector. I use a Spigen case with it, no issues there. Very Solid protector! For the "cons", well 60$ is very pricy. The installation process can also be very intimidating but if you take your time and follow every steps(watch the videos, it really helps), it should be fine. If you mess up though, you only have one more try but it's with the same protector that has to be cleaned. Fail again, then you have to buy the replacement kit, more $$$ :(. Make sure you are on a level surface!!! The installation is not for nervous, clumsy hands. This is not a full screen protector but when using a case, you hardly notice it.The kit provides everything you need to install properly, just be patient with the process. I highly recommend as a high end protector for high end devices. The only thing missing here is a long term use review.
