A beautiful chess set, nice packaging for the pieces, board feels good quality and the magnet is a nice touch, feels more stable. Handy for use at the pub. Easily portable and great value for money imo.

This was a gift for a friend so I haven't actually seen it myself. It was delivered exactly on time the day after I ordered it. My friend said he was absolutely delighted with it - said the pieces were beautifully carved and the chess set is portable and magnetic, meaning the pieces won't get spilled over the floor for him to pick up - he has mobility problems. It was an ideal gift!

This chess set is very nice for the price, the magnetism is fairly strong though not so strong to be able to turn the fully populated board upside down without a piece falling off so I wouldn't try that!!!The extra queens is a nice touch and the pieces stay fairly well in their slots when transported, though you'll find that they want to try and stick to each other as the magnets are strong enough and the pieces are light enough that they pull each other out of place.But overall a very nice nice to play with and or gift to someone you love.

Great quality chess board. Very good looking, which we didn't expect. Fairly light weight but a normal size chess board, and certainly has travelability due to being fold up and having specific indents for the pieces inside!
