I appreciate the idea of this and if it was better constructed, I would keep it. However, the glass, isn't really glass. When I put a picture in it, it's definitely cloudy and looks suspicious. I'm positive this would fall apart if I tried to put my 2 glocks inside of it. There is plenty of room for a glock 23 and a glock 21 45cal and a 40cal but as you can see from the pictures, it's not well constructed. I wouldn't trust this to hold the weight of my arms. Therfore, I'm returning this and I'll construct my own, similar to this design. Overall, if you just wanted to put something very lightweight and compact, it might fit your needs. But to me, there is no way I'd trust this not to fall off the wall or just fall apart completely. I'll be returning this, unfortunately. I guess I see now why it was so cheap in price. It also looks pretty conspicuous jetting out of the wall so far, so in the future when I do something like this I will have it reset into the wall so it will set more flush like an actual picture frame hanging there.

Love having this beside the bed hidden from plain sight. I have teenage kids that are trained and they know not to touch my weapons. Even though I feel I have taught them well, it's still hard to trust a teenager. So they don't know anything about where my pistol is located. It looks just like any other decor on the wall. We put a beach themed picture inside to match our decor. Teenagers don't care about beached themed decor. So there's no reason to even investigate what it is.It's conveniently located beside my headboard just in case of a emergency. I was able to cut the padding inside to perfectly secure my pistol and spare magazine. This product is real wood and not some cheap plastic. The only thing I would have liked is clear glass over the picture. It has a foggy plastic picture cover. anyway it's still nice and that's a personal preference.

It was so nice when I took the plastic cover off, getting the smell of real wood, it said quality. It is well manufactured and looks like the pictures. There are hanging clips on the back to hang it either landscape or portrait. There are magnets to hold the cover closed which would be most helpful if you hang it in portrait mode. It is pick and pluck foam the custom fit whatever you put in there.It is fairly big and will easily hold a couple of pistols. My picture is of a HK USB compact which is a reasonable size but smaller pistol. But you could easily get two full frame or 1911 size pistols, the red and blue ones. Amazon doesn’t seem to like pictures with guns, so I blurred them all.On big issue for me as a professional photographer is that the description say it is an 11x14 photo frame which is a standard print size which get printed plenty of places. The problem is that the print frame is 10.5 x 14, not 11. So, you are going to have to carefully trim your nicely printed 11x14 print and unless you have a nice trimming tool the odds are against you. Not sure why they skimped on half an inch, which is critical for the first purpose of being a picture frame.I took 1 star for that, but otherwise a quality product. Would have been 5 if it matched the description.

The Styr foam for gun compartments is missing. So, your gun is loose inside the box. The hooks or the mounting bracket to install and or to secure into the wall are missing. Not even screwed at the back of the box. There is no way to secure the door because it does not come, and no door lock installed.

Love this box/frame. It holds our pistol comfortable and give us easy access to a weapon if we need it. It looks great and fits out decor. I recommend this product.

Opened the top to add a picture and the frame fell apart in my hands.

This is my own unbiased review and opinion based on my experience with this product.I got this for my step-dad for his birthday, which is coming up soon. He is an avid gun collector and retired veteran. I felt this would be the perfect gift for him due to his age and the fact that he doesn’t live in the best area, I want him to be able to protect himself and my mother if there’s ever an issue arise. I feel at ease knowing he can access his firearm quickly and that it’s hidden from everyone else. This is very well made, thick and sturdy for sure.It’s beautiful. It hides the firearm well. You wouldn’t even know it’s there you would just assume it’s a normal photo frame.This would make a fantastic gift for anyone. There’s even room to put other stuff you value in this hiding spot if you so desire. The price is phenomenal. I highly recommend this gun safe photo frame.
