This is a great leash and works beautifully for walking our 55 lb golden retriever. I had purchased a more expensive "fancier" leash, but we exchanged it for this one because it was too heavy and bulky.

Perfect length and grip. Our street rescue need a lot of training, walking verbal positive reinforcement. Giving a dog who has never been leashed a long lead is the wrong way to go. Having this style leash is perfect. Keeps her close, which makes her secure. She has come a LONG away and is a sweet soul.

Easy to use with the great option of grabbing lower leash to tighten up. New dogs, so great for training. Good clasp and comfortable to use. So check width but thickness is good. It's gonna last for a while.
