Best books for learning Italian
These books are well laid out and structured to make it easy to learn. In found others confusing but these make it easier for me to learn.

Good introduction
Easy chapters, dealing with different topics, with a page of grammar @ the end of each chapter & a list of irregular verbs with their format towards the end. Exercises & mini tests, with answers, allow you to check your progress & revise, & there is a supplementary exercise booklet available too. Very useful if studying with a tutor, but the total lack of any language other than Italian could be a stumbling block for those learning alone.

I don't really like the way how things are taught here
I don't really like the way how things are taught here. It doesn't seem to be very systematic. It seems that there are so many irrelevant things in the beginning, and the important ones come too late to be covred in a basic course. The video course is good though!
