I didn't plan on buying a marble rolling pin, but when I saw this one I figured I'd give it a shot because it was so neat looking here on the product page. I was originally just looking to replace the same non stick rolling pin that I had for years, but went with this one based on the beauty.I read a lot of reviews for various marble rolling pins and it seemed like such a risk because half the reviews were pretty good and the other half were bad and mostly mentioned cracks, knicks, and uneven rolling due to the hole in the pin not being centered.I am happy to say that this one not only looks great, but rolls very smoothly, the handles are even and the hole is centered so there's no lopsided rolling.It is heavy, but not overly so. It is great for tough doughs because it relieves you of applying so much pressure. The weight of the marble provides the pressure you need.The handles are nice and big. They are very comfortable to work with, even for longer periods of time. They are lacquered very nicely too so no worries of dried out wooden handles, etc. Although mineral oil would cure any of that anyway.The color of the marble is very beautiful and there's no ridge or textured line of any sort where the light marble meets the grey bands at the ends. So, no worries of any marks on your dough. The marble had no knicks or cracks and no other imperfections.It is very nice overall and looks beautiful sitting out.The stand is just a small piece of wood - nothing substantial bit it does the job it's intended to. I'd love to have one of these rolling pins with dark handles and dark stand. I sort of hate light wood and it made me debate this one, but in the end the beauty of the marble won me over.If you're curious or on the fence about this one, I say buy it. It is beautiful and functional and looks great setting out on display. It would also make a wonderful gift.

Gorgeous Rolling Pin! I was shocked at the quality for the price! It is beautiful!!! It sits on my granite kitchen counter top. The marble has so much depth to it. It is HEAVY and good for rolling pie crust, which is what I bought it for. I like the way the handles feel too. Feels well-balanced. I've rolled a lot of cookies over the holidays too & it worked great! Over all, it is a nice quality roller.

Got this for my mother in laws Christmas present she absolutely loves it.Very good quality. Beautiful marble. Want to get one for myself.

Being new to rolling out dough, and not wanting to spend a lot for a silicone pin, I picked this marble one. I ordered it right around the big Christmas rush, and the company kept in constant touch with me as to when I could expect it. Then they ran out of the white marble, and gave me the choice of waiting for it to come in, or having a different color substituted at no extra charge. I chose to get another color. The customer service of the company was outstanding! And the rolling pin is very nice! The wooden holder that came with it isn't the best quality of wood, but it is functional. The handles on the pin are comfortable to hold, and the weight of the marble helps with the rolling. Now we are going to get fatter, as I continue to bake yummy stuff for us!

The marble is as I expected. Nice in color and appears to be one solid and nice and heavy piece. The little board stand could be of higher quality wood and stained and varnished against stains and chipping.

Easy to use. It’s heavy enough to make rolling dough fast. Balanced and smooth for even thickness of dough. This is my 2nd Norpro Rolling Pin. The first lasted for 15 plus years.

Not impressed with the quality of the product. The colors are very nice, though. But it was rough in spots and not as even as it should be. I returned them item in search for something better.I'll end up going to the store as purchasing a great quality rolling pin is hard to do online.

after having hand-me-down rolling pins for years, it was nice to finally purchase a new one! This pin is excellent in every way. Handles are extra thick which makes it really nice to hold. I also like the darker grey granite color. It was shipped/packed really well.

Me encanto!!! no necesito lavarme solo limpiarlo con alcohol o sea quitarle la grasa o lavar rodillo con humedad controlada para que no se le meta la humedad a la madera. 👌
