After reading the reviews. I purchased this string of lights for my screened-in deck after trying a couple other brands. I love these. They include a timer so I could hang them and not have to turn them off and on durong each day of use. I especially love the lighting on the wire...so unique! They are also easy to dim or brighten with the remote. I also love that we can switch between multi-color options & all white for the holidays. My only wish is that they could switch between all white with solid blue, solid red, solid green or solid orange which would cover all holidays! In any case, I was so satisfied with the quality of these lights that I ordered a 2nd set for the patio.

My fault, I didn't read the product data. There are only 15 bulbs on a 48ft string, and I was expecting more. That said, the bulbs are really sturdy and can be soft white or multicolor, variable brightness, and the string is also illuminated with small LEDs. All are programmable with a remote. So, overall I'm well pleased with these and so bought a second set. I expect these will stand up well to Fall and Winter weather, as the bulbs are sealed and shatterproof.

I was so excited to get these lights for my classroom as I have other color-changing LED lights already. The colors pictured are what I thought I was getting. WRONG! You get red, blue, yellow, and green. That’s it. No color changing, no color fading. The are very nice and seem to be well made, and I love that the strand lights up as well, I’m just disappointed that the photo is false advertisement.READ THE DESCRIPTION AND DETAILS CAREFULLY!!

Bought 2 for classroom. Rope between bulb has lights BUT half on 1 set does not work - just the bulbs. Luckly, its on set in rear of room. Love the colors and all the settings. I can use 1 remote for both sets. Adds cool lighting effect. Love that they are shatter proof. I used ceiling clips to hang in classroom.

I have a self built cover bridge I put over my pond. I got two sets of these to run down the entire length. The lights are bright and the lights in the string was also nice. They are made of ok materials and where I put them, it wont be a big deal as the sun will never hit them. But they are not the best made lights. Which is why I made it 4 out of 5 stars.

The Jackyled Outdoor String Lights really add that extra special "something" to my backyard.The quality of this set is impressive! I don't have to worry about glass breaking while I hang them, or sharp bits falling into my inground pool. The seal between the light and globe is nice and tight so no water, condensation or moisture gets in. The cord, which also contains lights (and makes this set the most unique I've ever seen) is very sturdy, but still flexible. After several months of rain, direct sun, gusty wind, heat and cold, the set still looks and feels fresh and new. The cord hasn't gotten brittle (like most other sets do) at all.I really love the control (literally...I have a remote control!) I have with this set. Turning them on, changing the brightness, the light pattern and even setting a timer is all done by remote. If I could change just 1 thing however, I would want to switch between color and white mode on the remote, instead of having to hit the button by the plug. And speaking of the plug- there isn't a ton of length (less than 5') from the plug to where the lights start. I had extention reels built into my outdoor outlets when I had my house re-done, and I had to use another 3.5 ft or so of extension to get the lights where I wanted them. Positioning and hanging the set was very easy. The included zip-ties and loops built into the back of the light housing made it a breeze to hang these exactly how I wanted them, and they stay put.From adding some soft, ambient light to bright, colorful "party mode" as the kids call it, this set really does it all! This set is built to last and has really made my backyard sanctuary an incredible place to relax or entertain. Because they are so affordable, I picked up a few extra sets for the fence line and front of my house too! Buy multiples, you won't regret it!

Got these to light up my pergola in my backyard. They are really pretty. I also like that there are mini lights in the cord between the bulbs it is a nice feature instead of just a plain cord in between the lights. They are shatterproof and subtle, sort of fairy light effect. Even in the non color mode they aren’t annoyingly bright, it’s more of a subtle mood lighting which is nice for outdoors but if you’re looking for full bright lights to light the night these may not be bright enough. The color mode is a bit Christmassy for my taste so I’m using on the all white mode for now. The blue color is also a bit purple.The only downside is when you plug them in each time it defaults to the color setting so you have to switch back it doesn’t remember the last setting. I have all my outdoor lights fed to a plug with a switch so when I switch them on, I have to go manually reset these at the plug. As I needed an extension cord to get these to the plug source, I have to use the remote or walk out to the source to change it to the desired setting. The remote is helpful in that regard but it doesn’t always work at the house distance from the plug so I have to walk out a bit to fix it. Maybe there’s a way to fix this but I haven’t figured it out yet.I use it on the solid mode as the flashing/ fading is a bit headache inducing. The hanging attachment is solid and it comes with cable ties to attach easily.All in all pretty lights and well made. We’ll see how they hold up through the seasons but so far so good.
