Very nice looking, bought to replace a Topser unit which lasted about two years. Our counter tops are a pretty standard size (B&Q I think 38mm) but once through the worktop, the thread on the tap doesn't allow for a water connection, see picture. So unit returned and a replacement Topser ordered.I checked the current listing which states "This Hot Water Tap has a downward water inlet and can be installed on a countertop or sink". Needs to be a very narrow counter top or sink.

Had the tap installed used it twice and it blew up,tripping all my electrics,wouldn't bother.

Easy to install to any standard sink tap hole or could be attached separately through a hole drilled in countertop.Put base unit into sink or countertype, 220v cord can either go to plug above countertype or into the one below. Most hava socket outlets for washing machine, dishwasher and fridge under the sink.It can be plugged into socket or hard wired.... just remove UK type G plug.On, off... cold, warm, Hot water.This can go in a kitchen, bathroom, cloakroom, garage, garden shed, or anywhere with a cold mains supply and power. No more big boiler sized units on walls when want water that is not ice cold.This also is Brilliant in UK because it has Cold, WARM, and HOT water from a single tap. This unit is the end of freezing cold or boiling hot, or the hands shuffle between cold and hot just to wash hands or face.It has a built-in thermostat digital display to know the temperature of water before hands or other body parts need a thorough good washing in a sink basin.I genuinely do not know why two separate taps or even a combi mixer are made and sold anymore. If the tap is 10m, 50m, 500m from a boiler... would have had to Wait for the hot water to reach the tap.Turn on, warm and hot water without the wait for it to traverse the pipework.

There is NO regulator of the heat whatsoever and you get scalding hot water no matter what!DON'T be fooled by the lever, as it does NOT work the way it is supposed to: if you put it on a little bit, you get scalding hot water, but just a small amount; when you put it all the way up, you get cold water, but more quantity.There is no win with this thing and on top of that your fuses will blow up at some point, don't ask me how I know!It's just an appallingly badly made product, which you would have to pay to install and then to remove, not sure if it would be accepted as a return, but right now I don't want to even look at the thing that makes me feel super-embarrassed for even trying.

It looked nice but I couldn't discern whether it needed a heating tank. The poor instructions had a drawing of one so what does that suggest?
