Very poor DVD in many important ways. Please avoid and read review to see why.
This DVD has some upsides-you get a feel for who Chuck is, and you get to see some of his crew and family. On the downside though are some glaring misses. I (foolishly) thought this DVD would show a lot of Chuck's fights but it doesn't.Missing are;Chuck v Wandy-one of the UFC's greatest fights, not even mentioned here.Chuck v Rampage-the fight where Chuck loses his belt-zero mention.Chuck v Tito-few clips, not of any great duration.Chuck's losses to Rashad and Jardine are barley touched upon.None of his fights outside the UFC (with Overeem and his first fight with Rampage, nor his bare-knuckle fights in Brazil) are shown at all. There are no clips of any length from his hugely successful pre-MMA kick-boxing career. As the DVD was made in 2008 there is neither his fight with Franklin nor Rua.When clips of his fights are shown they concentrate on the KO showing (I'm not exaggerating) the same KO over 10 times or more over the course of the DVD, just using different angles, speeds, camera filters to disguise this repetition. You see approximately thirty seconds of around 5 fights, with the rest of the DVD largely being padding. There is no real technical breakdown of Chick's style, nor any real attempt to get into his head, nor any in depth look at his training at the famous pit.A cynical attempt by the UFC to cash in on their champ, the moment he got beat. They (obviously correctly) predicted it was all downhill for him from there and he was retired by them after going 4 losses in his next 5 fights.AVOID!!

For Iceman fans
If you love Chuck or are wondering why he is so loved you need to see this.He is the Tyson of UFC always looking for the knockout win and the fights like that with Wanderlei "The Axe Murderer" Silva that went the whole way are still brilliant(that was the best fight ever in the UFC).After you see this you will be looking for all his fights as he along with what makes UFC a household name

ultimate iceman chuck liddle
This is a true life story of Chuck "The iceman" Liddle, from his early days boxing and fighting with his brother through to when he joined the pitt fighting club, and then his rise through the ranks of the UFC to become the undefeated lightheavy weight champion. This is brilliant documentry!
