Great world building throughout. The chemistry between them is getting stronger and they certainly don’t have it easy throughout this book and what a cliff hanger

Amazing book. Loved all of the other books I was able to arc read from this author and this one met all of my expectations. Characters were great and dialogue flowed, plot was flawless and not too predictable. Can’t wait to see what they wrote next.

After how Given - book 1 ended this book kicked off right at that point. Given (FMC) is in the hands of the Elves but they not only offer answers but also help too. Which in turn gives her strength to face her own demons and confront those that want to use her. I liked that Given grew as a character in this book but my heart also went out to her when she found out some details of her backstory and her feelings of being unwanted. It was a compelling read with the tri on and off dynamic between all of them. Add to that a cracking cliff-hanger ending. I'm looking forward to book 3 now.

The story continues with Varick missing and Given running from Laurent. Both Given and Varick will have to discover a strength within them to battle the demonic Midian and both find out that the truth has been hidden from them. With the prophecy being interpreted in different ways they are on the brink of war but will their experiences help or hinder them and what will be the outcome of Given's last farseeing. Full of intrigue, suspense, betrayal, secrets and lies, this story will literally keep you on the edge of your seat. I can't wait to read the next in the series to discover what happens next.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Okay the first book was good; this was AMAZING. It’s basically queer, poly ACOTAR and I am absolutely here for it. The writing is beautiful and just like in the last book, the world building is strong yet easy to understand.I love the growing relationship between the 3 main characters - I’ve gone from loathing Varick at the beginning of book 1 to being his biggest fan here at the end of book 2. Also the spice is yet again, on point. MM, MF, MMF, Pennza gives it all - although important to mention that the plot is still front and centre!Absolutely love the mix of magic and high fantasy - the ‘elven’ court was fascinating and it was also good to get to spend some time with Rhys the Fair and his gang. Also Jordan of Twyl is such a dark horse!Cannot wait for the third book; I have been recommending this series to absolutely everyone. If you like ACOTAR, Throne of Glass or The Bonds that Tie then you’ll love this series too!I received a free ARC from BookSirens.

And so the plot thickens!I can’t help but get fully immersed with the story, the characters. How relationships develop. The first half of the book really does focus on plot development, answering questions in book 1 and leaving questions to be answered, hopefully down the line. The next half of the book is all things spicy and hot, The author still manages to capture the full ambience of the… encounters, and you do feel engrossed, rather the usual wooden spice scenes regurgitated in many other books, the passion is well scripted.I would have liked more time spent in the Elven Kingdom, but this could also be an awesome plot for a different novel. I don’t feel this is as polished as the first story. But It’s not far off the mark. Read in one sitting! Given’s situation goes from bad to worse. She has been seperated from Laurent and Varick.During the course of this book we meet some new heroes and some truly evil villains and sets the stage for an amazing finale.The main three characters develop further and you see more depth with feeling and heartbreak. You quickly get sucked in to the story and root for the characters to find their happily ever after.The great part about this story is that there is so much we don’t know and so much left to discover. I cannot wait for the final book and I have to know what is going on and really want to find out how Given, Laurent and Varick can survive, thrive and finally find their happily ever after.

A great second book with plenty of action, suspense and spicy. Fantastic world building and the main characters are terrific with their relationship growing throughout. A really gripping read.I received an advance review copy for free and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
