Nice light, PPFD output is good without being too bright. I like that you can go up and down in brightness without having to cycle through every setting.

Edit: I posted the below review as 1 star and intended to do a return through Amazon. Before I even initiated the review, the seller contacted me stating they'd had an issue with their factory and had contacted Amazon to dispose of the faulty units. However several had already been shipped, including mine. They initiated a refund to me and stated I could dispose of the faulty light. The customer service was great and I do believe that this light will be a fantastic product without the defect.Previous review: The support cannot fit through the hole in the top since the led strip isn't correctly aligned. Simply non-functional.

As you can see from a previous review, it seems the manufacturer has sent out a shipment of grow lights that is missing a part from every packaged item. (Like the previous review, I ordered a replacement item and that shipment was missing the same part.) The automated Amazon system is unable to deal with a situation where two shipments equal one complete product. As a result I contacted the manufacturer. This became a lengthy inconvenience for me going between the vendor and Amazon. After a VERY long phone call with a human, ("Amber" at Amazon customer service) the issue was resolved to my satisfaction and further inconvenience was mitigated. Be aware that for now, ordering this item is a recipe for time-consuming inconvenience and confusion.EDIT: dealing with the incomplete product from this vendor is still a mess of miscommunication and confusion. I'm not sure if I've been charged for the incomplete unit or not. What I DO know is that this manufacturer's error has caused far more trouble than the item is worth and I'd suggest you stay far away from FOXGARDEN considering the reviews mentioning incomplete items and the reviews regarding defective items. BUYER BEWARE!Regarding the product if it had arrived as a completely functional item.... it seems to be well-made. The parts are made of sturdy metal rather than plastic. It should function well. If you get a complete product in one box, and which has been assembled properly at the factory, it's likely you will be satisfied with your purchase. However it seems that this company has poor quality control in their manufacturing process.

The grow light comes partially assembled, and it was very easy to get it up and running.The height adjusts from roughly 11" at the lowest point to about 21" at the highest point.You can set the timer for different durations of the light being on and off. You can have 4 hours on and 20 hours off, 8 hours on and 16 hours off, or 12 hours on and 12 hours off. This is nice because you don't have to remember to turn it on or off each day.You can also adjust the intensity of the light. I have it set up for a cucumber plant that I am trying to get a few more cucumbers to ripen indoors.This is great for starting plants from seeds. you just set the height to the lowest level so the light can warm the soil to help the seeds germinate.I think that this throws more light than a lot of the skinny stick lights that you bend into place over your plants. It may be just my personal preference, but I like this type of light better.

Missing top screws to secure light down

This light comes with a stand which is a very nice set up.Its also adjustable.Its full spectrum so it can be used for seed germination and plant growth. Will come in handy this winter season for indoor plants.Light is bright.Seems to be of good quality.

Ordered for my son for Christmas.Product was missing an important part for assembly.Until this issue is resolved, the product is useless.

This does do what it says it will. For me it leaves a lot to be desired in it's timer functions.I wish it was infinitely adjustable.It does do everything advertised, I just wish it did more.
