Great clock but difficult to read
I’m pleased with most aspects of the clock in particular that’s it’s well made and looks good. However one major flaw is that the “tail” of the second hand is similar in size and length to the hour hand. Therefore when simply glancing at the clock it is easy to get an erroneous time. I’ve got around this by taking the clock apart and cutting 5.5 cm off of the second hand but obviously most people will not want to do this, not least because it will invalidate the guarantee. A second more minor issue is that the clock came with an unnecessary sticker saying “Radio Controlled” on the glass. It left a sticky mess when removed and I had to buy nail polish remover to clean the glass.

Great looking clock
I put this clock up on my living room wall, it looks great, I was very pleased with it at the time of purchase. It took about 4 hours to set itself to the right time which was fine with me, the instructions inside say that so patience is needed as the instructions also point out. But my patience ran out when it didn't automatically set itself to BST when they changed it stayed in GMT so reset the clock and all was well again and when it came back to GMT it again didn't change automatically it stayed in BST so I attempted to reset the clock once again to see if it would reset to GMT and it kept going back to BST. This really tested my patience, I thought it stopped working after 12 months as it would read the radio signal and would not go any further after resetting to 12 o clock after taking out the current battery and putting it back in as well as a brand new one but after weeks since GMT it started working again 🤨 only time will tell if it last with a usually trusting name.

Great clock!!
A very clear display clock for the kitchen.I have acute hearing and live in a very quiet place. The clock has a very faint tick, which is not audible against everyday kitchen sounds, such as a fridge or freezer gurgling. If you are after a totally silent clock, you need to buy a sweeping second hand clock.I'm extremely happy with this clock and love the accuracy.A great clock for a very good price. You won't be disappointed in buying one of these.

Good looking metal clock
Needed to replace a kitchen clock with something better looking and settled on this clock. As it's mounted up I wanted a radio controlled one still useful until the time changes are abolished.Unlike the cheaper "Peron" version made of plastic - this has an aluminium case and looks better, the hour letters are smaller but more "stylish". It is also bigger at 30cm diameter vs. 22cm or so for the smaller clocks. The movement looks the same.In use it does "tick" thus it is not silent. Upon first start it does take some time to test itself, locks onto signal and gets the time and finally sets itself. This may take 30 min or so just be patient.I do think it is a bit too expensive for what you're getting considering that radio controlled clocks are now about 10 quid, but if you wanted something metal and good looking then I guess you have to pay for it.

A clock that does not keep time
I bought this clock, thinking Acctim was a name I could trust, but unfortunately this clock does not keep time accurately. It picks up a radio signal, sets itself and then proceeds to slowly lose time, about 9 minutes per 24 hours. If I reset it manually, it works for a few hours, then starts to lose time. What is the use of a clock that does not keep time? Really disappointed with this purchase, and after the Xmas postal rush is over, it will be returned for a full refund.

Accurate and Reliable. *** Change AA Cell every 18 months ***
Accurate and reliable, at least where I live, near London.Purchased and installed in April 2019, battery needed changing in May 2021, as it started to behave really strangely showing random silly times. I had posted a negative review as I had noticed that this item no longer had a support button in my orders list on amazon.I use AA Duracell Plus, new battery fixed it! Better not to leave it more than 18 months, this clock does not just lose time when the battery fails it shows a totally random time.

Love the look BUT....
Love how this looks but have had a heck of a time with it. First one, kept losing signal, second one had a scratch on face (under the glass), third one had scratch on stainless steel. Amazon did replace them and I finally have one which appears to be working. Its a lovely looking thing with the seconds around the inside of the figures, however, as said by others the second hand tail is overlong and sometimes I have mistaken it for a time hand. All that said, I love it! The three stars were for the faff.

Review changed after couple od months - It (doen not) works
Original:First radio controlled clock... and it is great, just went through summer/winter change and it adjusted itself. Great!!EDIT:Unreliable. Time changes at night, if it was my only clock I would be late/early on multiple occasions. It sometimes changes by minutes only but other time goes nuts by 5 hours. So I wake up in the morning thinking I am late when there is still 15min or 3 hours left of sleep!!There is an option of manual setting, but then whole idea of the radio falls apart. Se here it goes - TO THE BIN!!
