BrodartGenuine 8" Polished Bone Folder

I have been creating many projects since making this purchase. This is so well made that my crafting friends are envious when we gather together. It has allowed me to burnish cards so much faster than when I was using plastic bone folders. I am very impressed with its quality and weight. It does not bother me at all that it's made from cow bone because we do have to kill cows to consume steaks after all. Might as well use all of the cow.

This bone folder came very quickly and was packed very well so it arrived in excellent condition. I'm using it to fold very tiny cranes out of origami paper made out of gold foil paper. The folder is SUPER helpful in making sharp corner folds and for ensuring that none of the white side of the paper shows through. If you are familiar with the tradition of folding 1001 gold cranes for a wedding (which is what I'm doing), you will appreciate how much easier it is to make "perfect" cranes quickly using this bone folder.

I purchased the bone folder to use when covering my books with mylar covers. It worked very well, and the quality of the folds is excellent. I recommend this to anyone who needs to fold paper or mylar.

I only wish this came in a protective case, though I made one by cutting into a long bead box from my local craft store. Otherwise a perfect product.
