It’s so fun to practice fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and just getting messy (the ads lie it is still messy no matter what🤣) with my hands!!! I’d say it functions pretty well but there’s def a learning curve at the beginning so I can understand why some people got pretty frustrated when trying it for themselves. The kit was not a bad starter, the guides definitely helpful! Just make sure to keep the tool level with the horizon when tracing down the pottery shape of your choice. I ripped the package open as soon as I got home and let my inner child be freed… she’s happy to say the least! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not great for a child who gets frustrated easily

I would say this pottery bill is cute but it is a little hard to use. My daughter loves crafts and pottery and after a couple minutes she really needed my help with it and she was getting frustrated with the holes so we're ending up on the bottom of it. My husband was able to do it perfectly but my daughter was not able to do it unless she had a lot of help. If you have a child who gets frustrated easily this would not be the product to get but if your child is willing to work at it and learn how to do it then it could be fun for them!
