CoverTecCoverShield U100 Matte Hard Surface Floor Sealer, Clear Natural Look (1 Qrt - Prof Grade (2) Part Kit)

Used this to seal the concrete counter overlay we put in our guest/kids bathroom. Has been down for a few weeks and so far no stains or water penetration! There is no mixing ration on the bottle (just says to add the smaller bottle to the bigger one) and we used a 3:1 ratio (diluted with water for the first 2 layers, then undiluted for the last) that we saw on a video review of it and ended up with a disproportionate amount left over. If we ever use it again we will probable do a 4:1 ratio.

I liked the matte finish very much, and Covershield U1000 looks like a great product. This is a Part A/Part B product. The ratio is given on the Part A bottle as: ""RATIO is 3A to 1B". That's pretty clear. Unfortunately, after I mixed up about a quarter of Part A (3:1), I read the data sheet, which says "Mixing: Ratio 7A:1B". I believe the data sheet is right, based on the volumes of parts A and B I received. Now I've wasted a lot of my Part B, and I don't have enough to do my project. Hey Seller, can you send me some more Part B, and fix the labeling on your Part A bottles?

This was the only matte finish sealer I was able to find and I'm glad to say that it did not disappoint me. I did 2 coats on my quartzite countertops and several months (and a lot of hard use) later the finish is holding up great. I also used it to seal some hand painted wall paper and that is holding up beuatifully too. Since this is a completely clear sealer with a matte finish you can't even tell it's on the wallpaper and it makes it as protected as a countertop. I'm sure we'll be able to use it for other stuff too.One thing to note....do NOT use anything with the word "fiber" in, on or around it to apply this product!!! The instructions on the product suggest using a "microfiber applicator"....don't do it! The microfiber applicator left, well, fibers in the finish. It aslo left streaks in the finish too. You can see distinct lines and fibers on our countertop if you look carefully. For the walls I used a mini paint roller with a sponge roller designated for "very smooth surfaces" (which is a denser sponge) and the result was great- wish I'd used the sponge roller on the countertops too!

Very good product. Has been on our cement kitchen counters, (heavy use), for three years. Really no negatives. You will be happy with your purchase
