Braun Series 1 Electric Shaver 190s-1

Easy to handle, takes up little space when you need to take it with on holiday had another one from 15 February 2011. Battery life running down, foil and cutter needed replacing once again, so purchased another Braun one same model/design. Very good value for money.

I have had two of these shavers over the years and find them exceptional value for money. They are basic and straight forward, but give you a consistent close shave every time. Recommended.

I was looking for something like my previous and failing Braun that also had a single blade foil for ease of use, this fits the bill, also wanted a good sideburn cutter which again it has, my only gripe is the angle of the side cutter blade that makes it awkward to use as you have to hold the shaver sideways instead of my previous that had the blade angled so it was held flush against my cheeks, much better design, i've only had it long enough to use one so can't judge the battery life so apart from oddly fitted cutter blade i'm happy.

This shaver is a replacement for my old same model shaver which was faultless for 11 years and gave a very good shave. This new shaver is equally impressive so far and purchased for a good price on Amazon. I like the single foil as it is also good for removing hair from the ears.. and the built in trimmer is good on beards. Excellent in every respect.

In my view far better than the so-called advanced Series3 shavers - which have enclosed/sealed foil and cutter sections meaning you cannot really get at them to clean properly as with previous models. And of course the "Cassette" system as they call it will generate more money in replacement parts! Also the Series 1 model here is quite neat and compact - not bulky or awkward to hold like the Series 3 - and you can easily reach all parts of the face. But I fear this may ultimately be phased out by Braun to make way for progress ha!

Efficient effective and easy to use.

This is the third such shaver I have bought (nothing lasts forever, right) Each one has been excellent, easy to use and gives me a closer shave than others I have had in the past.

Have owned one of these models for years hence the purchase of a replacement. Single foil makes shaving easy and comfortable and the trimmer is a handy addition for my tash.
