This product is the Loremaster (GM) screen for Lord of the Rings Roleplaying by the excellent Swedish publisher Free League. They make 2 parallel RPG lines for Middle Earth: Lord of the Rings Roleplaying (LotRR), which is based on the 5e roleplaying game, and The One Ring (TOR), which uses a proprietary game system. Being based on 5e, the LotRR Loremaster Screen doesn't recapitulate the basic, intuitive rules of that system which you probably already have memorized. Rather, the inside of the screen focuses on the special and unique rules of the LotRR version of the game. These include a brief rules miscellany as well as rules overviews for the unique concepts of Shadow, Councils and Journeys. Additionally there is a 12-page softcover detailing Rivendell. This includes an overview and layout of the haven, NPC notes on the likes of Elrond and his sons, and stats for the latter twins and the astonishing lord Glorfindel. There are also 2 pages of material covering Noldo player characters. Like all Free League products, the construction, durability and artwork are lavish. If you plan to run a game of LotRR and have any use for a screen this is an excellent value for your money.
