Droidbox. Everything you need for trouble free streaming / voice and video calls....
i have tried several Android Boxes and found the Droidbox range to be head and shoulders above the rest, Their ROM contains all the apps you need to set up your box and is updated automatically OTA.With this box I have added a USB webcam, I am able to carry out voice and video calls through Facebook, Google Hangouts and Skype.NB: This box has an internal compartment to take a 2.5 inch HDD making it an ideal DVR.I have purchased several boxes for family and friends directly and through Amazon, all have been in perfect working order, postage and packaging is excellent always within the time given even when posted to me at my accommodation on the Shetland Isles.Support is through the Droidbox forum, here you will find all the help you need with your set up, alternatively you can contact Droidbox direct through your box to resolve technical issues. If you are thinking about purchasing an Android box you will not be disappointed with Droidbox, great boxes and excellent support, everything you need for trouble free streaming.....

Wot, no sound?
First impressions was how quiet it was. Not as in the running of the machine but no sound. It is connected to my AV amp using a HDMI cable and port that I know works, plug the HDMI back into the FireTV it could be replacing and I get sound.Read the various support pages and nothing. I posted into the DROID Box forum, and as yet no reply. I am sensing that I may have a faulty box but not sure yet how to prove it.Also, the machine doesn't seem to respond to a Bluetooth keyboard (which paired perfectly) but was too busy checking on the sound last night.First impressions are mixed.

Great piece of neatly packaged technology.
At first the Droid Box was alien to me, in fact I didn't like it. However, after getting used to it I love it now. It's a great piece of kit and as long as you give it fair time to get used to it then you'll love it too. A decent knowledge of Kodi is needed or at least a willingness to learn but there are so many resources on the Internet to help you if you need help. It's a really great piece of tech, very powerful and capable of a very high definition, on my 4k TV 4k sources are magnificent. Ask yourself why you want it and unless your know about these things ask yourself if you are willing to spend an hour or so learning, if you already know the score or if you are prepared to learn then this box will delight you.

solid android box
Received the box nice and early in good condition. First impression... very good build quality comparing to other box I had. Love the fact that it has dual band WiFi as 2.4 it's so crowded. It's my only device in the house connected on 5Gz WiFi. I've loaded a few big builds on kodi and and and everything runs smoothly... 1080 hd, 4k, 3d . Obviously you need a good internet connection to stream this type of vids. Procesor strong to handle multitasking. When using kodi on Android I always have acestream and vpn running in the background and everything runs smoothly. I'm still learning things about libreelec so I'm not using the dual boot option but its nice to have it for when I'm ready. Last but not list love the fact that it has ota updates so hopefully I won't need to purchase a new box for a while.

Not happy.
I thought this box would be as smooth as butter but it crashes more than a drunk driver. Not happy.

Expensive bit of tat!
Decidedly unimpressed with this box. First thing it lacks is any instructions other than how to plug it in and connect to your network. If you want any other advice you have to go online or you tube and spend endless hours trying to find the info you need. I emailed the company prior to purchase asking if it was a 7mm or9mm Hard drive fit. Got an email back pointing me to various resources online to search for the info. Sorry Guys, it was a really simple question with an overly complicated reply. When it arrived I found that you can't fit a hard drive! I received an email AFTER it arrived telling me that I couldn't fit a hard drive. If I'd got that reply to my first email asking about the HDD I could have cancelled my order as I don't want an external hard drive. The picture quality was poor with patches of red and blue and a lot of colour mismatching. Also, the device rebooted a couple of times for no reason. I bought this to replace a basic, much cheaper Droid box I've had for quite a while. It doesn't compare. It's going back and I will replace it with something a bit better.

Fantastic Android Box
Fantastic item. I have been looking for a android box for ages and this one by DroidBox ticks all the boxes. I have had no problems with installing the apps I want to use. It is quick too. Easy to install. Instructions are easy to follow. The build quality is of a high standard higher than others I have seen. I would recommend this item to anyone.

Remote didn’t work
I got this for a friends birthday however the remote did not work so I had to spend 15 on another remote. I got one myself but it came with a different remote.
