It’s a microwave?
Works great. Don’t have little ones around but the child safety latch is a cool feature. Fun to watch family and friends figure out how to open the door. I would recommend. I will say that it is big and heavy. The beep is very loud and it keeps beeping until you open the door or press stop

NO LONGER HOSTAGE AND HUNGRY DURING BABY'S SLEEP!
This is the real "baby shower" gift! Follow the registry and all that, but my goodness this has saved our marriage and bodies. Since becoming parents, we've bemoaned that we can't eat (anything warm) once baby's asleep. Everything is so unnecessarily loud and has no off button. Want to turn on the oven? Great, every button is going to beep as you turn it on, but then that's not it, because it'll sing a song when it's done preheating before you have to make another beep again to turn it off. Want to turn on the microwave? Again, every button touch is a beep before you have a whole song when it's ready! We found ourselves doing ridiculous things like "don't forget to put 9 minutes on the microwave before baby goes to sleep" so that we could minimize the beeps to just one when starting it, then staying in front of it the whole time and opening the door before it finished. Sometimes that one beep would still wake up our baby, though. The ability to turn the sound off was the answer to our prayers. I hadn't known it existed, but--in retrospect quite thankfully!--our new apartment didn't have a microwave. We've bought then given away 4+ microwaves at this point, so we were pretty peeved and initially planned to get one for free from Marketplace. But then we saw this one. We saw that the holy grail of a silent appliance existed. We saw that an appliance designer had finally heard our prayers?! So here we are, living like royalty, eating warm food at night and during nap time and anytime the mood strikes us. Microwave is truly silent, we can use whatever features we'd like, we no longer have to ration off the remaining time or beeps or fight over whether warming food up is worth waking the baby. We got the smaller size, which is (barely) large enough for our largest dinner plate. Seems to heat food up evenly and spins well. It is a little slower than microwaves we've used in the past, but not by much. The eco mode does seem to turn itself off, which is annoying. Overall, still love this purchase!

Quits working after a few weeks.
I would give less stars if the option was available. The first microwave i ordered came on time and was fairly easy to set up. It worked fine for a couple of weeks then quit working. I had someone look at the outlet in my kitchen to make sure there was not a problem with that (or the breaker) since the breaker would trip amd stop everything on that outlet from working. Once it was determined that there were no electrical problems and likely the microwave, I initiated an exchange thinking it could just be a faulty microwave. Now that I have the second one, again, after using for a few weeks it does the same thing. Do not purchase this microwave. You will just end up returning it multiple times.

A very good microwave
After using this for a week, I can say it performs great and looks fine. It heats stuff up faster than my last Emerson.FYI, I use it mostly for tea, soup and the occasional melting of chocolate. It does a great job on all, though I have to use shorter heat installments for the chocolate so as not to burn it. The mirrored front is a minus for me as it is a canvas for fingerprints, especially around the door handle. The child proof latch is not an issue. They send all kinds of info on how to disable it, which I did right off the bat. I really like the simple, large number pad and intuitive power and time setting features. So far, I'm very happy with this microwave and can recommend it highly if you are okay with fingerprints.

Great microwave
This is a very nice microwave. You can shut off the sound but you have to do this after every use. It heats food pretty fast, just takes a few minutes longer than my last full size microwave. I would buy again as I didn't want a larger size. This is perfect for me. I have Corelle dinner plates and they are just the right size.

Chefman Countertop Microwave
I am really very happy with this oven. I bought it last year when my Microwave broke. I am glad that i found something that was reasonable and it seems to whole up well. I would recommend this product.

It heats well, but know what you're buying.
It heats food well, but with 2 issues: 1. What engineer thought it was a good idea to have the "ding, food's ready" tone blare an obnoxious five times in a row, & each blare lasts an obnoxiously long time at an obnoxious, piercing volume? One quick ding is enough. Good thing I missed those first four dings but caught the fifth one blaring in my face as I'm standing alone in my kitchen. I suppose if you need a microwave for your loud commercial kitchen, or for a house filled with screaming kids, the repeated piercing screeches might be useful. For everyone else, wear ear protection. I'm looking through the owner's manual to see if there's a way to reprogram the dings. 2. I learned the hard way that the microwave won't work properly in an enclosed space, like a kitchen cubby hole built into the cabinets to fit a microwave. The microwave vent on the side needs open space (at least 6 inches) to release the heat. Otherwise, the microwave automatically shuts off halfway through cooking until it cools off enough to reset the internal circuit breaker. So it's suitable for countertop or open shelf placement, but not for a confined cabinet.

This microwave is okay and does the job, especially for the price. It’s fairly basic and feels a bit lightweight, but it heats food as expected. One thing to note is that the door opens using a button located high up in the handle, which isn’t immediately obvious. Once you know it’s there, it’s fine — but it may take a moment for first-time users to figure out.

Happy with purchase, aesthetically neutral, functions well even though it’s not a well known electronics brand. I’m pleasantly satisfied with the quality.

Had to return due to an electrical issue. It kept blowing the breaker for the switch it was plugged into. It was the only item on said breaker. The same plug ran my previous microwave for 8 years. Breaker reported an arch fault each time. Not going to risk a repeat performance so I chose a different manufacturer.
