First a big shout out to Amazon! Your company has been such a blessing to my business. And I really can't thank you enough.Okay, the DJI Action 4. Now I am self employed. I am a commercial photographer. I don't spend money easily and I am not given to impulse buys.Also, I currently have four action cameras from other manufacturers I have purchased over the years and they all fall short for me in many areas. That being said, I have wanted a DJI action camera for some time now but could never justify spending more money. So when Amazon offered the Action 4 at half the original retail price? I thought about it over night and decided to take a chance.Wow! I don't know what to say. I know the Action 5 Pro is out and this is the previous model. But again I say, wow! This camera is everything I hoped it would be and more. The picture quality is fantastic, the audio is crisp and clear, it is feature rich with lots of options. I couldn't be more happy. It's twice the camera I hoped it would be at half the price.I don't make these assertions lightly. I shoot daily with full frame DSLR's that cost many times what this camera did. And the picture quality on the Action 4 is better in every way. Ease of use, I can change the setting in a fraction of the time I could on my big cameras, I can even add an external microphone if I want!This camera really is one of the best purchases if not THE best purchase I have made in a long time. My hat is off to you DJI. BRAVO!

Decided to replace my trusty Shimano CM-1000 sports cam. (that still works, but lost the audible beep)Amazing jump in technology with stabilization, good night vision, fps options and mini screen(s) to view or replay recordings.All these features do have additional drain on the battery and spare batteries (especially in cold weather) is recommended. Can't wait to use this on a full tour!

Great quality video, lots of settings and awesome stability. I got this instead of the NEW model 5 but since I'm not a professional, this was awesome for home videos and some youtube uploads. I don't like the fact I need to register this camera before use, so DRM kinda sucks, but once you set it, forget it.

DJI products need no intro. Action4 is no exception. A nice rugged camera with both screens lighting up simultaneously. Better quality mic compared to osmo action. I’m not an expert on these gadgets but it appears that it takes up more space on the micro sd card by generating some “extra” files. Not so with osmo action. Another upgrade is the ease of connecting an external mic to it. Osmo action, on the other hand, required specialised adapters adding to the cost and limiting versatility.

Absolutely love it! I got the DJI Osmo Action 4 because I saw it on Tik Tok, and absolutely do not regret the purchase. I do highly recommend getting ND filters though. Camera is spectacular for low light videos!

This is something the bloggers who compare picture quality and video technology and number of pixels are not telling you: in order to use this camera you MUST register it via an app that you have to download on your phone with a Chinese-based company.Before I go any further, full disclosure: I am a television broadcast engineer and broadcast IT engineer, so the technical aspect shouldn’t be a problem to me, right?Wrong.The camera turns on with a QR code, you HAVE to register your product. You can skip the registration process only 5 times. So I got scared a didn’t even want to take my chances so I scanned the QR code with my camera and it opened a webpage with instructional videos. I thought great idea. In the video it tells you to download their app from the App Store. When you install the app you HAVE to give it a bunch of permissions, including Bluetooth access and others. Not great. I just wanted a small camera. Further we go: the camera is not recognized at all by my phone. It’s already 15 minutes into me having unpacked the camera, I just wanted to set it up and to go shooting videos and taking pictures.I head for the troubleshooting section of the app, which launches the web browser and the best advise is to uninstall and reinstall the app on my phone.Done, now I can see the camera. It pairs with my phone.Turn the camera off and one again (I am an engineer, ok) and the camera doesn’t pair with my phone. Again. Turn it off, turn it on, Bluetooth on my phone off, on, off. Nothing. It’s trying to connect to the camera but it can’t. 7 times through the same thing. Delete the app, download the app.Pair the camera again. Turn it off, turn it on. I want to update the firmware. The camera is not paired with my phone anymore.45 minutes later I still didn’t take my first picture with my camera. Not to mention video. Nothing. Nada.Folks! This is supposed to be an action camera. You can’t stop the action to pair the phone just in case.Again, I am a professional and still had issues.See the documenting pictures for yourselves.I would have accepted an exchange thinking it was a defective product, but again, I don’t like the fact that I am FORCED to register a product a purchased in full (it’s not a subscription camera)

it came without a camera lens that come with every dji action camera, everything else that was supposed to be included was in there. it is required to download the app to “access” the camera which was a little weird but i made sense to easily obtain your footage and pictures to your phone. i personally like the photos and video quality i watched the dji 5 and i didn’t like how vibrant and fake it looked compared to this action 4. i use it on my motorcycle helmet and its really simple to attach and remove with the quick release, i say its worth it for the price
