The ad reports that the set is stainless. It is plated in something gold colored. I only wanted the place settings - metal chopsticks are garbage - but my husband took them and the metal straw to use in his shop somehow, along with the straw brush/cleaner. The case is very nice. Thick, nice zipper and lined with an easy to wipe clean inside material - it's shiny foil looking. Honestly, I'm using the case for something else - but you could bring your won utensils to eat/camp/? if you'd like. I hand washed the usable utensils. I am a little concerned with whatever the gold plating is to put them in dishwasher. The utensils are quite heavy. There is a fork, weirdly large -soup? spoon, a knife and then a weirdly small - like dessert? spoon. Overall - something for everyone I guess.

These are really pretty and I ordered them to go with a lunch box so I would have to worry about losing my own silverware. The sizes are very weird to me because the small spoon was very small and the rest of it is kind of weirdly large. As an adult with small hands I can only complain that I just assumed they’ed be standard size and didn’t read the description all the way. But still super cute and if you like fancy cutlery I highly recommend!!
