Looks awesome as it is essentially two miniature Dutch ovens. The colored ceramics at the time of purchase were almost double the price of the pure white, but it would have been a shame to not get the color to match the kitchen aid mixer. Usually I would expect that the colored coating would be uneven in parts and be spotty under the handles for example, however mine is very evenly coated. The handle, text, and overall sculpt is great also. My only nit pick is that the lid has some movement when placed on the container body, it is flush but you can wiggle it left and right a bit. Maybe this is part of the design to avoid chipping the coating with use. Overall really satisfying.

I love this double container for salt and pepper that allows me to scoop or pinch the amount that I need. I take the set down from my spice cabinet when I start cooking and use them throughout the process. I use the bottom half to hold a little cayenne pepper because I use a fast manual KUHN (?) grinder for black pepper. I like the retro style and feel of the containers.

I'm always trying to save a little money so I settle for less expensive options.This salt and pepper box works fine. It's nice looking and a good size.I knew, when I placed the order, that this did not have a seal nor a small spoon.I regret doing that. I will use this but without a seal i feel that the spices/salts could get damp and lose quality. I don't know that for sure, but I mention that in case it is important to potential buyers.I can use it without spoons, often chefs take a pinch from the bowl and sprinkle it in the food. When I use it that way, I know that my hands have been washed before...but I just don't trust that everyone will be as aware of that.Again, I should have reasoned this out before buying. Still, you should probably think about that.
