Although this colander is a little wider than I would have preferred, it is attractive, collapses well, stays collapsed (unlike many fully silicone collapsible items), plus it expands perfectly to fit my sink. The plastic rim keeps the colander stable on the counter edges and also helps when attempting to fully collapse the colander. I have not only used it to drain produce but also to drain items that I've cleaned prior to putting them in the recycling bin (daily use). It's deep enough to contain a lot of produce as well as recycling (much more than you see in the photo). Thus, the colander keeps that side of the sink empty and cleaner, plus it leaves more space for dishes in my small dish drainer. I usually leave it out, so I can't rate its storageability but it does collapse fairly flat as advertised.

This is really nice. It stores easy since it pops flat. It works great with my farm sink. Well-built and does not sag in the middle when in use. I love it.

Compact for storage but I can get all my garden haul in when I expand the strainer. I take it right in the house and start washing all the items picked from the garden.

Had to purchase and return three times before I got one that wasn't cracked and broken. Once I got one that was whole, it worked really well. But I am concerned that because 2 arrived broken that this speaks to the durability of the product. I've had it for a few months, though, and hasn't broken yet.

Collapsing Colander/Strainer Over the Sink is fabulous!! I love it's multifunctional use. It's a great space saver when cooking and I really like that it's so easy to use and wash. A real value and compact so storage is easy as well.

Works okay. Thought I'd keep it out at the sink but it doesn't stay expanded and hang on to the sink like expected so I have to put it up. Good thing that it's collapsible. It is a little clunkier to use than anticipated.... I have an extra large sink with no middle separator. Perhaps this works better for the smaller double sink.

BOUGHT THIS FOR MY WIFE, SHE LOVES IT. IT IS REALLY AWESOME THAT IT CAN EXPAND AND RETRACT TO FIT THE DIFFERENT SINK WIDTHS, AND IT FOLDS FLAT TO SLIP IN THE CABINET. I WAS WORRIED THAT SINCE IT SLIDES STUFF WOULD GET STUCK UNDERNEATH, BIT IT IS BUILT SO WELL THAT DOESN'T HAPPEN. TONS OF HOLES FOR DRAINAGE, JUST A GOOD PRODUCT.

On paper seems like a great idea. Works but extra time and diligence needed to clean and need to leave it fully extended to dry which I did not think about. Also storing it I find the extension is loose so slides around whenever moving it. Should have looked for something g smaller and not adjustable.
