After having a complete knee replacement, this was a great soother for the post-operative pain / discomfort. Equally with sciatica, which was aggravated by the Op, this helped no-end to the relief of the pain which comes. With either a microwave or a freezer (hot / cold Pack), this product can be reused many times over. Great relief with no meds.

Bought to relieve shingles pain on the back and chest - worked well and certainly provided much needed relief - best applied regularly through the day to keep the dread electric shocks and itching at a more bearable level.

As a family with children and accident prone parents it's always useful to keep these in the freezer. Took a while to work out strapping but we got there. Work better than frozen peas and a 2 pack is handy. Had 3 months so far and have used on elbows, head, heel and toe!

Effective when both hot and cold, though I prefer a wheat bag for heat as they are more flexibleHas to be heated in hot water and this takes a lot longer than a microwave and it is a little inflexible straight out of the freezer, the Velcro straps could do with being longer tooYou do get two for the price though so they can be rotated easily

The stars reflect the way it was delivered and not how good the product is. Mine arrived with stains as if it was used, see pic, I will be returning and will be buying elsewhere.

The pack is great hot or cold. The velcro is decent length for strapping most joints and muscle groups.

I urgently needed a hot pack for a rotator cuff injury. I was going to get a microwavable bean type, but many people reckoned the beans separated to each end of the product, thus not supplying much heat where needed, so I went for this product. It heats up really well - I put it in the microwave for 1 min 20 secs, and that supplies enough heat for around 30 mins. This is not a product that is designed for the shoulder; it is designed to be velcroed around the waist. At first, it was frustrating getting this to stay on the shoulder (hence me not giving this product 5 stars), but I eventually found draping a scarf on the shoulder, and then balancing the hot pack on it worked for me, and I got accustomed to it. Also at first, it looked like there was a bit of leakage from the product when it came out of the microwave, but it seemed to be a bit of adhesive that had become liquified or similar. There was also a bit of an vinyl-like odour from the product at the beginning. I was reckoning this product would only last a few uses. But, 100 days later, with use 2 to 3 times a day, this product is holding strong, and I'm so glad I got it. Highly recommended!
