Definitely does the trick. VERY tight and uncomfortable at the waste because the top comes down to merge with the middle! I fit into the dress but felt uncomfortable the entire time.

Maybe I received a defective item? I tried to put them on, and they ripped right away right on the butt area. No, I don’t have long nails (I keep them short and natural), and yes, I ordered my correct size. I was so upset that I threw them away, forgetting I could’ve returned them. The quality of Spanx has really gone downhill. I own a pair that I’ve had for over 8 years never ripped, never had any issues. Really disappointed.

So disappointed in this item. The 1st time I wore them a hole popped on the waistband. I was being careful not to pull them too hard too. Fabric was a bit cheaply made.They also rolled down easily. I returned them and bought Shapermint brand. Cheaper and better. I still wear them.

The fabric in parts of this item is extremely thin. My thumb went right through the seam the first time I tried it on. Very disappointing for the price I paid.

Horrible. Rolled down the minute I got into the car.
