Disappointed
Sadly I was disappointed with this latest Cathy Woodman novel. Firstly because of the misleading title and secondly - it has just been an irritating book to read. I thought at first it was just me but upon reading the reviews I am pleased to find that I am not the only reader to feel like this. There are certainly an unacceptable number of proof errors contained within the book unfortunately. I "stuck with it" because I paid the full price when the book was first published. I shall not be keeping it to re-read at a later date but my local Oxfam bookshop will benefit from my donating it to them.

misleading title
I have loved all the books in the Talyton St George series. The title led me to believe it was a follow on to it's a vets life, i like another reviewer should have read the preview. However, the book was good and it was nice that characters from the previous books were included. It is a book that could be read without first reading the others in the series. If you love animals and want an easy summer read try it. I am looking forward to more books been written in this series.

Animals and romance. What more do you need!
I have read all 10 books in this series and have loved all of them. Even though they can be read individually it is interesting when characters from previous books are mentioned.

what a waste of my money
This was my introduction to Cathy Woodman's work, and sadly I bought the audible accompaniment, what a waste of my money. It is appalling writing, very corny and very predictable. I'm carrying on listening, because otherwise it's throwing money down the drain, but I'm so looking forward to the end.I've read the other reviews which say that this is a deviation from her norm, I find that hard to believe, what I don't find hard to believe is the reduced price, I should have taken the hint.

Another page turner
I really enjoyed reading the next book in the series by Cathy Woodman. I enjoy her style of focussing each book on different members of the village so there are the 'regulars' who crop up in each book. I'm always left wanting more.

I was disappointed because I really liked the first books
This book does not hold up to the rest of the Talyton St George. The dialogue are sometimes immature and the character lack depth. I was disappointed because I really liked the first books,

Loved it!
Cathy Woodman has become one of my favorite authors. I think I first saw her name on Book Bud or Goodreads. After reading her first veterinarian book, I quickly became hooked. I was fortunate that a very good friend had given me an Amazon gift car for my birthday, and I was able to get quite a few of Woodman's books as a birthday treat.
