If you have an inground pool with a filtered system, this is the product that works BEST for back-washing! I have spent money on the conventional rubber or plastic hoses that continuously wear-out over short periods of time simply due to the significant pressure that is forced from the pump and it causes the hose to generate splits with water shooting everywhere. I searched for something better and found this product that assimilates a hose that is used by fire departments for the reasons you can imagine, they can't afford to have holes to lose pressure while on a call. I have been using this product for months now and it is hands-down better than all my previous hoses combined. I recommend it to all Pool Owners!

Very sturdy replacement for my pool hose i got a few years ago

I use this to pump water and it works excellently. I can fully verify that the 2.5 inch fits perfectly and easily over the 2" PVC that I have, and not to oversized for it. I was using some 3" and it's really too big for the 2" PVC. This hold up nicely over asphalt to be driven over and not get holes in it like the blue stuff. I have it run this way and it's holding up very well. It is far more flexible, has much better strength and will last far longer. Stay away from the blue flex hose and get this and you will never look back! Highly recommended!

I used it as a supply hose to a temp irrigation I set up. It lasted 14 months exposed to Florida weather and running over it a few times with a truck and trailer. Just brought another one to replace it after it started springing leaks.

This thing is like a fire hose! We were looking for a long backwash hose for our pool. Unfortunately it didn't fit on the valve so we had to return it.

This is much better than the blue vinyl hoses that seem to be the replacement for the tried and true PVC hoses that were terrible for the environment apparently. It's nice and flexible like the old hoses it remains to be seen how it holds up to the sun

Started my retune already but wanted to share it here as well. This product has been used and was sold to us as new. The pictures are with date and time stamps minutes after we received the products. We bought 2 only opened one but both have been used as you can tell from the attached pictures. Also. The inside of the tube was all wet. Unacceptable!!!! Be aware

I've only used it twice so far to drain my massive backyard pool With it's larger 2.5" diameter size, I was able to pump out the pool water much faster than using a smaller hose. Even leaf waste that was in the pool all winter went thru the hose easily. No leaks that I could detect and handles decent pressure from my 1 HP submersible pump. It does come with 2 adjustable metal o-ring clamps.
