If you are a Hellraiser fan you MUST read this!
Great bloody artwork, awesome and epic plot continuation of one of the best horror series from the man who created it. This is the Hellraiser we have always wanted.

Decent
I enjoyed this, but the story makes no sense whatsoever. But the movies don't make much sense either, so that's forgivable. The art is fantastic, especially the Tim Bradstreet covers. Gruesome, grotesque, imaginative, and awesome. I wish volume two was out, because this ends on a cliffhanger.

Hellraiser comics in a large collected form.
The Hellraiser series is always a great horror to visit. This collects a large bit of the comics in all their glory. Don't let other volumes trick you into thinking about the size of this though, it's got some thickness and heft to it.

Awesome, just awesome. Love the story and its antipathy towards human nature. Love the Irony of Leviathans will at using chess at using ones true fear as a means of discipline.

Great start, slow finish
I loved the first half to first two thirds of this book, it is full of great horror elements, and well done art. It is a far better sequel than the later movies. However, the story really escalates and spins out of control to a level where it really stopped interesting me. I understand the direction they are taking, and while intriguing, is not what I wanted to see. I will not spoil anything other than to say, the story quite literally takes on a global size and in my opinion begins to drag and lose focus.First part I would give 5 stars to. The last part, probably 2 to 2.5 stars. 3 is the middle ground.I don’t think a fan will regret buying this, but like me, you may finish this omnibus and be satisfied with how it ends. I don’t plan on continuing to read this series.

An amazing continuation
What an amazing ride this is. If you loved the horror films especially 1 and 2 you need this even if you dont like comics. This is the ultimate movie that will never be made, it is imaginative and bloody.

Solid Work
Horror is always hard. Especially as a comic. Words let the reader see it in their own mind the way they want to, without constraints. With pictures, everyone is stuck with the concepts the writer and artist choose. There is no room to be fanciful. Horror and fantasy need to be fanciful. This was very good despite the limitations of being a comic. I enjoyed it, which surprised me.

better than I expected.
Barker came up with a good story here but as usual he always has a hard time coming up with a good ending. I'm still not exactly sure what happens at the end of the story. The art is really good and if he'd been able to decide if there really is or is not a heaven he could maybe have ended it better.

Tres bon.....mais je m'attendais a plus !Le livre est supposement une suite au deuxieme film, mais il y a trop de non expliqué et l'histoire se deroule trop vite !Sinon bonne reliure et bon paperback solide !Recommander au fan de hellraiser !
