I enjoy this game very much. I will say though, as Germany and the UK you will run out of pieces. Apparently politely contacting Renegade Studios and asking for extra pieces should solve the issue. You will have to specify how much you need though. I had already purchased a 2nd copy of the game so I couldn't tell you how many extra pieces of each nation you will need. If the Ottomans don't get knocked out early and take most of Africa in the late game, you might need more markers and unit pieces. You will need more tanks and planes for UK and Germany for sure though.

Tengo los axis and allies de europe 1940 y en comparación las reglas son mucho más livianas, ahí se van los dos de largos pero se hace más ligero el juego en 1914, lo he jugado a dos jugadores y fue bien, tomó algunos días jugarlo dedicándole unas dos horas por día, pero nos dejó satisfechos, al principio parece que el eje va a ganarlo todo pero después toma bastante fuerzas aliadas, así que el final es apretado, en fin, me parece que es un muy buen juego de la wwi., y a mi parecer los componentes son de la calidad esperada, en general buena, eso sí, en cierto punto al eje le llegan a faltar fichas, pero de ahí en fuera todo bien.

It's an ok game just not enough miniatures or chips to play a nice full long game I think they could of done a better job on some things but overall pretty cool game. Expensive game almost worth spending over a $100. 1940 axis and allies second gen is still the best
