Gnometopia Series: Big Country, 1000 Piece Adult Jigsaw Puzzle, Hidden World of Gnomes

This is a very fun, challenging puzzle. We loved the charming HilltopHouse image. The puzzle quality is excellent: the inter-locking pieces, which came in a zip-lock bag, are sturdy and well-cut. Very good price.

My predominant comment is that this puzzle was not fun. And that's why there are no photos documenting my progress. When I am enjoying a puzzle, I take photos every time I hit a milestone to send to my puzzle friend. I took no photos along the way and, to be honest, I ended up packing it up without finishing. It was not fun.There were many false fits. The colors were murky. There were no joyous moments when you get a bunch of pieces together to flesh out a segment of the picture.Lack of fun isn't really a great reason to lose an entire star. Lost star is because of frustration from many false fits and because the edges of some of the pieces were already not super secure and several started to peel up as I worked the puzzle.This is not a keeper and it's not a puzzle that I will pass along to a loved one. This puzzle went straight to the donate box.

I loved this puzzle! It came with the ziplock bag to store in, poster and the quality was fabulous. I can’t wait to purchase more of these puzzles.

Gorgeous puzzle. Definitely recommend as with any 1000 piece assembling it in very good lighting! The dogwood blossoms are tough but it pays off in the end.

I would love to have more of this series as all of them are so cute.My first nitpick is I really wish they offered these puzzles in 300/500 piece options. I don't understand why nearly all puzzles are 1000 pieces when everyone I've ever talked to about puzzles doesn't want to always commit to days and days to the same puzzle. 300-500 pieces are perfect to dedicate a couple or a few hours to then move on with your life.Second, the darker colors are darker in person than they are on the box or the listing pictures. I have a hard time with dark colors on puzzles and I thought the purplish palette would be just light enough to more easily discern which pieces go together.Overall I'm glad I took a chance because again the whole series is cute and they are well made......but it would have been measurably more enjoyable if it were less pieces and less dark. I really hate to say those things though because it makes me sound picky and hard to please.......but it's how I feel....don't hate me!

No frayed edges. This is a high-quality puzzle that makes me smile.

This puzzle has been manufactured with quality and care. The pieces are thick and have been cut solidly all the way through – there are no fraying edges on the pieces. The colors are bright and vibrant, and the pieces have a semi-glossy finish. The pieces lock firmly in place. Even the box this comes in is well constructed with a full bottom and a full removable top with all sides and edges finished. Included in the package is a small poster of the puzzle, which is great for reference while putting the puzzle together. This fun scene would be great for putting together with loved ones, or all by yourself on a snowy evening while sipping hot chocolate. This quality product would also make a lovely gift. I am very pleased.
