I found the instructions to be missing some important steps/information, but eventually was able to work it out on my own. Once assembled the item works perfectly. I could not fit it over my door and have the door closed as too close to the frame apparently. But i hung it on the wall and I love how it gets all my shoes up and off the floor. Can comfortably fit 2 1/2 pairs of adult shoes going across, unless they are small flats maybe 3 then. I just stacked up some of my sandals on the ends of rows with two other pairs.

I love the fact I can fit 20 pair of sandals into. Easy to put together, so don’t be alarm with all the pieces.

This looked like it would be perfect for my apartment and I was excited to give it a try! It was easy to assemble and once assembled stayed together pretty well, but hanging it from the closet door proved to be a challenge. The included hooks are designed to be adjustable so that it fits perfectly over any size door, but I found that the assembly often slipped out of place and got smooshed in my door frame, bending the hooks out of shape and risking damaging the door frame! Also, if you are in a rental like me and don’t want to use any screws to keep this in place, it isn’t really going to work for you - shoes start to fall out of the bottom racks as they work their way between the organizer and the door. Eventually I did put a couple screws in and then it was much better, but I wish I didn’t have to.All in all, this should be okay for you if you can use screws to keep it in place. If you can’t, I would avoid it. I’ve since replaced it already with something else. Just not my favorite design, mostly because of the door hooks.
