Tree Spikes
The metal is solid. The straps are stable. The upper metal eyelets will not stay centered with each strap below the knees. They will shift and the gaffs will sink deep into the bark leaving the climber stuck. Increase the foot straps securely with velcro along with plate support for the metal shafts with rivets. Both gaffs need to be welding to the opposite side of the footer.

Cheap crap that will break
Not very reliable. Lasted about 3 tree climbs and items started breaking not what you want to buy if you want sturdy equipment

WOW!
I'm amazed at the quality of the saddle alone, much less the spikes. I oredered them, they showed up almost instantly and i'd definitely buy them again from this place, nice product guys.

Not safe! Do not buy!!!
The gaffs(spikes) are placed too far down. The pictures here dint do it justice. On other better tree spurs the gaffs are more at your ankle height and the point is slightly above the bottom of your foot. I ended up buying a different setup after I almost stepped on my foot while in a tree. With other designs it's less of an issue because that spike is more flush with my boots. With these I almost got a 2" spike into my foot while 30 feet in the air. It posed a pretty big safety issue and I can't use them for my own safety. Also, with them being so low it makes them almost unusable. When you're in a tree you're basically standing on top of a nail and trying to balance. It's really uncomfortable for more than a few minutes. Other designs you kindof sit better into the tree almost using your knees. Not to mention with such a severe drop you can't walk on any hard surface. I actually stepped on a root that was at the surface and fell over. I can't immane trying to limb walk I like the harness tho. It's good for the price.
