Easy to install great lighting under cabinets in kitchen

I have some wired-in under-cabinet lighting, but it doesn't cover the whole countertop area. I ordered and installed these lights in Sept. 2023 to fill in the gaps. In late November, one of them stopped working. I did all the troubleshooting I could, testing all the lights individually, and then contacted customer support. They sent me a new light, which I received within a week, and now I have them back up and running again! Installation was easy -- the first time around, I put them up with command strips, in case I wanted to change the location. The second time I put them up, after getting the replacement light, I used the adhesive provided on the lights. I angled them differently so that I wouldn't accidentally turn them on or off, which happened occasionally when I had them closer to the front of the cabinet. The pictures show the new setup. Although the installation clips were fine, I wanted a cleaner look. Once I had the final configuration I decided to hide the cables using white duct tape (which you can't see from a normal standing position in the kitchen). All in all, I'm happy with these lights and would purchase them again. It would be great if they also came in a warm white color.

** Update as of June 4th, 2024: The light is no longer turning on. After contacting support, they assured me that they would dispatch a new set and send me an email with further instructions. I received the email and they are sending out a new unit. I will update when I receive it.I recently purchased the Asoko Under Counter Lights, attracted by the promise of motion sensor activation and dimmable functionality. While these lights offer some impressive features, they may not be the best fit for certain applications, such as a workbench environment.After encountering the frequent on-off cycling issue while using the Asoko Under Counter Lights over my workbench, I decided to find a workaround to make them more suitable for my needs.Taking matters into my own hands, I taped over the motion sensors to prevent inadvertent activation and attached a smart plug to the lights. This modification allowed me to control the lights via voice activation using a smart plug, providing a more seamless and convenient lighting solution for my workspace.With this adjustment, I can now enjoy the benefits of the Asoko Under Counter Lights' bright illumination without the nuisance of constant flickering. The lights remain illuminated as long as needed, enhancing visibility and productivity at my workbench.While this solution may require some DIY effort, it has transformed the functionality of the Asoko Under Counter Lights, making them a versatile and customizable lighting option for various settings, including workbenches with pegboard setups.Overall, with a bit of ingenuity and modification, the Asoko Under Counter Lights have proven to be a valuable addition to my workspace, offering both convenience and flexibility in lighting control.Overall, while the Asoko Under Counter Lights excel in certain settings like kitchens or closets, their constant activation and deactivation may make them less than ideal for use over a workbench with a pegboard setup. Consider this factor carefully when deciding on the best lighting solution for your specific needs.

The media could not be loaded.  Nice packaging. Easy to stick and install.No screws needed. I used them for lighting under the cabinets in the kitchen. The brightness is very useful in the morning and/or the evening. The motion detection works, even my son likes the lights. I still have the other lights I have gotten so very good quality for the price in my opinion. Overall very satisfied with the product you can connect them together or have them seperate. The cords go in so you don't have to worry about any cords hanging.

Second Update: I did receive a replacement for the one defective light. It was a bit delayed as it was initially sent to an incorrect address, but I eventually received it and all was well…for about two months, until the replacement light abruptly stopped working. (The other two lights are still fine). I immediately contacted the ASOKO support team again and received this response just over a day later: “Thank you for reaching out to us. We will consult with the other team regarding the issue and what solution we could provide for you. We kindly ask for your patience and understanding in this matter.” That was three weeks ago and I have heard nothing since. I will update this review again if a solution is ever offered.They worked fine out of the box, so I installed them under my cabinets. They continued to be fine for about 10 minutes then went off and would not turn back on. After some experimentation, I discovered that one light is no longer working, but that the other two lights and the plug/connection cable are fine. Have contacted ASOKO customer support, will update review after they have responded.Update: got a response from customer service in less than 24 hours; a replacement light should be on the way soon.

So I ordered two sets of these lights and install was super easy and, though not as bright as I'd hoped, were very adequate.Anyway, after a couple weeks of use, one of the lights started flickering and just died. No problem, just disconnected it and the other two are fine.Adhesive is really amazing. Having trouble getting the dead light off in order to replace.Contacted the company and they replaced the dead light without hesitation. Amazon customer service! Will be buying more in the near future.
