When I went in to this book, I knew nothing, its informative and doesn't use too many technical words and if techy words are used they are explained

Very informative, contained 90% of what I wanted to know and not too much of what I didn't. It seemed a little more targeted towards the commercial keeper or at least someone with more than a few. It also didn't have such an emphasis on the welfare of the quail as I would have liked, this is probably due to its more commercial slant on quail keeping. I would have liked to have seen more about the housing, which is actually why I bought it. But it's adequate and gives a good few options and tips. Overall a good book although you might need a second if your not happy to use Google.

I found the book very basic with information, most of which is probably logical general knowledge and found online. Nothing new.
