Premium 3 Function Electric Hospital ICU Bed with Mattress & IV Pole.

I bought this bed for my friend and it is wonderful. Everything I expected. It arrived in very speedy time and was easy to put together.

I don't usually leave reviews but because this is an expensive purchase I decided to. I wish I bought this a year or two ago. It looks good and operates great. Makes life so much easier. I bought blue 60" side pads for 42 dollars also from Amazon(different seller) as well. They look like they came with the bed and fit the rails perfectly. Amazon delivered to the back patio. I probably should have had them put it in the living room(where it is being used). It took two men to move the carton into the house (the plastic ties broke and one of the men pulled a muscle so beware of that. It is VERY heavy). I also had them setup the bed which took much more than the 15 minutes some reviewers have mentioned. In my area there was no Amazon setup available so I had to hire people to do it. The only down side is the mattress. I laid on it to test it and it is hard as a rock. I put a different foam mattress on the bed but of course it does not have the folds in the right places to take advantage of the knee/leg movement. If you plan to use the mattress try it yourself before putting a patient on it. It would be like laying on a hard floor. I don't think even a topper would help that much. Other than the mattress I definitely recommend the bed. Fantastic price as well.

This was purchased for our 91 yr old mother who has Alzheimer’s. It is low enough so she can get in and out on her own. We can put the rail up at night for she does not roll out of bed. The rail on the other side giver her a handhold for repositioning in the bed. The mattress is very hard so we added a thick pad. I would recommend this to anyone. The price was fair and the assembly was fairly easy. I did have help. The box is very heavy. Be sure to have it delivered to the room where you will set it up.

I had high expectations for this bed given the price and "premium" description, but it’s been a huge letdown. The motorized functions are inconsistent... sometimes they don’t respond at all, or they jerk suddenly when moving. The mattress included is thin and uncomfortable, definitely not something you'd want to rest on long-term. I also had issues with the remote; it feels cheap and started acting up after just a few uses. For something marketed as an ICU-grade bed, this falls short in a lot of ways. I wouldn’t recommend it.

SOOOOO much better than the 1950's style bed Medicare was willing to pay for -- and good value for money.It took 5 people to get it into the house as the package weighed 275 lbs. Not being offered delivery/set up services when I purchased lost it a star. The Amazon drivers explained they could not put the package in my house. So I had them lean it against my front porch steps and called my friends. We managed to slide it up and into the house using cardboard from other Amazon deliveries (reusing before recycling).HEAVY but all 4 wheels lock and once in the house and assembled it can be moved by one person.Lots of functions, solid build, comfy, easy to use.

Absolutely pleased with this bed.It was packed wood and about 220 pounds.,but well protected. My sons put it together in 15 minutes. Very comfortable and firm. I jhad to change the prior bed my caregiver was having back pain getting me out and in bed, and administering medication.

It took forever for this bed to arrive, and when it did, there were big holes in the box, so I feared the worst. But the good people at Amazon helped me arrange a Saturday delivery, listened to my concerns about the holes in the box, and were delighted (as I was) when the bed turned out to be perfectly okay and in excellent working order. I grateful that it lowers almost to the floor and raises almost to waist height. I would suggest that you purchase a mattress pad, because the mattress that comes with it it quite flat and unforgiving. But it works perfectly with the adjustable head and foot positioning. I’m so very grateful that I purchased this.
