A solid monocular
Good quality picture and zoom, solid build, but pricey considering what you're getting.

Better than expected
Smooth operating and has clear views. I did not detect any aberration near the edges of the filed of view. Everything seems crisp from the center to the outside edges of the view. Adjusting the focus is a simple one-handed operation. Changing the zoom is easier with two hands, but can be done with one hand depending on you hand size and finger dexterity. the eye piece does not rotate when the zoom is adjusted, which is nice since you eye will not feel the rotation of the zoom ring. The strap attaches to the plug that screws into the tripod mounting point. The plus is nylon so it probably can't take mush abuse from the strap. I wish it had been an aluminum plug instead. The tripod threads seem accurate and I was able to easily attach this to my camera tripod. Even and max zoom, the field of view was clear and I can see lots of detail across my large yard to spot small critters. The larger objective lens makes the monocular useful in low light and it even works for some star gazing at night. The objective lens cover is permanently attached, and dangles beneath the monocular when uncovered. The eyepiece cover completely removes, so make sure you put it in your pocket so as not to lose it when your using the monocular. It's actually nice that its not attached like the objective lens cover as it would then tickle your face when viewing. The included case has a single vertical loop for running a belt through. I wish it also had a few horizontal loops for attaching clips or MOLLE attachments and that the vertical strap was a snap closure on the bottom, but it functions as it is. The case feels like a thin neoprene material and looks like it should hold up well and provide some protection to the stored monocular.

Not worth it
This monocular has same quality as the one worth 30$, picture quality and zooming is not that impressive. Very normal monocular. Not worth it.

Good clarity with minimal distortion
I've a actively use this it the range for quite some time now. For our case use clarity is great with minimal distortion. It's a small range with the average use of 100m. Dial controls are smooth and fluid. No rough or "dry" spots when adjusting the dial. At max zoom we can still make out our longest target at 213m. There provided lens covers which is a plus as some manufacture are starting charge for them.We have it mounted in a tripod for stability and we had no issues with threading. The only downside is the price. On occasion there'll be a coupon or discount available which makes this a good buy.

Excellent Zoom Function
This is my second product from BOP Optics and I have to say that this monocular is awesome as well. It has an adjustment to allow you to zoom, which really works well, and another adjustment to allow you to focus. There is also an area on the bottom that will allow you to attach it to a tripod. This Monocular is well made and easy to use. It comes with a carrying case, and a cleaning cloth for the lenses. It does not have neck strap, so you won’t be able to carry this around your neck. It looks exactly as the product photos show it. It isn’t heavy, so taking it with you on walks or hikes won’t cost you a lot of weight in a pack. Overall, I would say that it is a bit pricey for what you get, but it functions very well and it is well made.
