Back to the Roots Mint 'Peppermint' Seed Packet, 125mg, Green

I recently tried the Back to the Roots Mint 'Peppermint' Seed Packet, and my experience falls somewhere in the middle. While it has its merits, there are some aspects that left me wanting more.On the positive side, the 140mg seed packet is generous and provides a good number of seeds for planting. The seeds themselves appear to be of good quality, and I had a decent germination rate when I planted them.Growing peppermint at home is a delightful experience, and the fresh aroma it adds to my space is wonderful. Plus, having access to homegrown mint is a real treat for making teas and adding flavor to various dishes.However, I did encounter some challenges. The packaging and instructions could be more detailed, especially for beginners. I would have appreciated clearer guidance on planting and care, as it took some trial and error to get the best results.Additionally, while the seeds did germinate, the growth rate seemed a bit slow compared to other herbs I've grown. It required patience, which may not be ideal for those looking for quick results.Overall, the Back to the Roots Mint 'Peppermint' Seed Packet is a decent option for those interested in growing mint at home. It provides a good quantity of seeds, and once established, the mint plant is a joy to have. However, the lack of detailed instructions and the somewhat slower growth rate prevent me from giving it a glowing review. It's a middle-of-the-road choice for home gardeners.

I planted these seeds at the same time and in the same way as some onion seeds that were two years old. The old pot is doing much better than the new seeds.

I purchased these to try in my hydroponics station. After just three days I already have sprouts! The hydroponics station definitely helps with their growth, but I’m relieved that the seeds are viable.

The seeds sprouted within two weeks. So they are still growing right now. Most went into a planter outside but some were in a pot inside.

ORGANIC apparently also means that only 25% of the seeds planted will sprout. Not a great ratio but good enough I guess.
