Superior Silicone
Significantly reduced off-gassing. Low viscosity liquids easy to pour, mix and measure. Interestingly, the mixture barely expanded in a vacuum chamber, and the bubbles rose quickly and popped without sudsing. Excellent pricepoint for the quantity and quality.

Best silicone mold making product out there!!
I'm a long-time crafter that makes custom orders by trade. Trying to find the right casting mold from customer request has often been a struggle that has led to customers "settling" on what they get. I bought this product of off reviews alone, hoping I could try my hand at making my own molds. After I received the two-part mold making silicone, it sat in the box for 9 months because I was too intimidated to try it. I got brave last night and gave it a go. My only regret? NOT TRYING THIS SOONER!! It was so incredibly easy to measure/mix. It poured into my handmade forms with ease, completely coating every nook and cranny! They claim it is self-degassing and it totally was! Absolutely no bubbles/micro bubbles to be seen! The mold is very sturdy and durable as well. The only flaws were operator error. I used two separate forms (one made with cardboard and tape, and another made with my son's interlocking bricks). On the one with tape, I had left a crease in the form, so it was not perfectly flat, and this silicone worked so well it picked up the ridge I had left in the tape! I did brush a mold release on the bricks out of fear of the silicone sticking, but did not use a release on the cardboard/tape set up. I had absolutely no issues with releasing the mold from either form upon completion. I really don't think it would have stuck to the bricks if I chose not to use the release, it's just that clean of a cast! There is also NO odor, which is always a bonus when working with crafts. This silicone is definitely WORTH EVERY PENNY!! Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go buy a larger jug of this. I've got molds to make!!

Amazing Product
I am amazed at this product. Great in every way. Nice solid silicone at 1 inch thickness. I use it to make fishing lures and it exceeds my expectations!

Just Wow.
Wow, this stuff surprised me for sure. But it's super simple. Mix evenly and throughly. Degassed I'm vacuum and poured slowly. Covered and didn't give into temptation to mess with it. Dried completely 1 hour before expected. Way better than that Hobby Lobby stuff. Will DEFINITELY buy again!!

Very nice, Very Strong and Flexible
I have only used one other brand of silicone before. This one seems to be much stronger and just as flexible as the other brand.I am impressed with it.Degasses well as long as it is not too warm when it is setting up. (without vacuum or pressure chamber)Easy to use and mixCaptures ever detailGood removal of objectsI have had issues with tackiness on some pours but I am not 100% sure if it was do to user error. One of my pours is into another silicone mold and that mold seems to be the one I have the issues with. The instructions say not to use with "tin cure silicone" and I have no idea if my mold is tin cure or not.I wish it did not take 6 hours to set up though.Over All great for what I am using it for. (Mainly making silicone parts) - O-rings, gaskets, standoffs, etc.

No cure inhibition
No cure inhibition. I've bought this more than once and I'll continue to do so when making molds of 3d-printed items. Works great and I've not had a need to look anywhere else.

Simple and Easy to Use Silicone
I used this silicone kit to make prop ice cubes for a film. They look and feel great, they won't melt, and they are quiet. Exactly what I needed. They don't float like real ice, but I'm not using them in drinks or anything. I'm sure I could figure out how to put air bubbles inside them if I needed them to float. The directions are simple and straightforward, so be patient and precise with your measurements. Fill your mold with water first and then dump that in a measuring cup to figure out how much silicone to use. This way you won't waste too much of it. Clean and dry your mold thoroughly before pouring the silicone in.If you've got the time, don't rush letting it cure. Just pour it into your mold and check it tomorrow. Let your mixing and measuring devices sit that long also. It is much easier to peel the dried silicone off than trying to wipe up the excess before it has cured. The price is reasonable for this kit, especially when I researched buying prop ice cubes v. making them myself. I paid just under $40 in July '24. I'll buy it again when I need to make something else.

Great to create our moulds
Great to create our moulds based on our own designs, for the planters we make.
