Variable Speed, Quality 6"
Great fan, just what I needed to lower the tent temperature 5-10°.Moves more air then you realize, quiet operation, durable build, variable speed control, looks good not cheap. (like my previous 4" setup)Great value.Bought a 16' hose with this 345cfm 6" fan, great combination. We've always had gardens, but never started plants indoors before, you can't go wrong with this 6" fan to move air quietly.

Great if you smoke indoors!
Almost perfect! Great little fan especially for the price. I use it to suck cigarette smoke outside from my bedroom. While it wont visibly grab “ambient” smoke from across the room, it does a great job if you smoke near the fan and is perfect if you don’t mind holding the cigarette by the fan’s opening.

Fan works very well
This fan works very well. It was easy to install and definitely clears my laser of fumes.I only gave 4 stars as the 1st fan I received was a "Kit" internally when received. Then the 2nd one (replacement) I received was in a plastic bag with no paperwork / box.

Small but mighty!
This little guy is great. I needed an inline exhaust fan for my resin printer and this works perfectly. It’s got more than enough power and I don’t even use it higher than 2/3 of the way. It seems durable and is made of metal. It’s very easy to use and it also works perfectly with a smart plug. The weight isn’t too heavy either and can be mounted if needed without it having too much strain from the weight of it. I didn’t have any issues fitting it to my 3” tubing either. I recommend this if you’re looking for a small inline exhaust fan.

Part of the air system
We try to buy from the Ma and Pa places on here.Being disabled . We need to be price conscious. At "The Mother In Laws Place"It is an off-grid cabin, we run DC on a lot of things .We see no need to use the inverter 24/7.just so you can turn on a light when you come home .We use LED bulbs in ceiling mount fixtures that are marked 12-volt DC only. These are controlled by controller with a FOB remote. The controller is board mounted on our PV control center .We use a few of the controllers for different rooms to control each ceiling light .We also run the kitchen stove exhaust fan with DC .The fresh air intake system for combustion is DC .These are fused in our DC only fuse center .This fuse center is controlled by a service disconnect at the DC master box .We also run two AC fuse boxes on our PV board .One protects various AC 110 volt circuits in the cabin , garage and sauna .The other protects 220 volt circuits from the aux gen set and to the split ac/heat pump and the aux battery charger for when the PV and hopefully soon to be wind generated power are not enough to keep up.We run 8 - 6volt Rolls batteries tied by Buss bars .They are temperature and voltage monitored on the PV board and by the inverter unit. The power is inverted by a Renogy 3000 .It also has a multi stage charger built it with flow through capability .These are almost all protected by Breakers purchased here .We have a remote shallow well system that we use a soft start unit on .It lessens the instant draw on the system .It is all about power management. This is a semi detailed , general description of some of the off grid power systems we use .I am going to add this review to each one of the parts bought on here .

Bought 8, 2 have had the bearing(s) go bad.
I have purchased about 8 of these fans over the last 18 months or so, I use them for a variety of applications around the house, especially for circulating air relating to our woodstove, which is our primary heat source.Overall, they are awesome. They are easy to use, reasonably quiet, and very light weight considering how much air they can move. My issue is, of the 8 I've bought 2 of them (25%, 1/4) have had the bearing(s) go bad within a few weeks of use. For both, I noticed they had a slightly different tone/pitch when running when first installed. Over time, this pitch became noticeable and eventually obvious and irritating. Operation of the fans never failed as I removed them fairly soon after the pitch became obvious and irritating. Given the application I use them for, I both didn't want to have to listen to them and couldn't risk a potential fire should the motor lock up while I'm out of the house. The other 6 fans have been phenomenal, and I plan to give them another shot and buy a few more. I do hope quality control deals with the bearing issue. If not, am going to need to find a different manufacturer (which would be a shame, because these really do have a lot that is desirable about them).I only left a one start rating so it would get more attention. In reality I would have left a 3 star review, but nobody, including myself, usually reads those ratings.
