Q: I was under the impression that period pants meant you didn't need a pad or a tampon, is this true or are these just a cheap copy?

I was always told that period pants were there for leaks, so you still wear a pad but if you leak it goes into the pants not your clothes. My daughter wears these so she feels more confident in doing her sports, and they have caught leaks and saved her clothes! They are Comphy aswel

Q: What is the best to get for a size 16 A L or XL

I'm not sure, bought them for daughter, she's only size 8 uk but they are a generous fit.

Yes I believe you can, but just be aware of the sizing as I purchased XL in this and it felt small.

Can wear on their own. Bought them for my daughter, she wears all day at school. Also can be worn all through night. She's been using them for 2yrs, they've never leaked!
