Used to exit fan exhaust through soffit panel. Fit well, low profile and was easy to install. Decent, strong plastic that should last a long time.

Look at my picture, you can see the unit is made of extra thick plastic and very sturdy. The collar connect to the flexible pipe is more than 1 in long, made it very easy to secure with the flexible pipe. The bottom is not flat but in V shape, moisture inside the housing will flow to a small weep hole

Well made and great design to stop replacing cheap products often. The vent design is genius, has a damper and small vent holes to keep out bugs. Made of durable plastic and easy to install even 19’ in the air above second floor. Install two a couple feet apart to replace rusted metal “rust proof” after less than two years. Look no further for the best soffit vent on the market.

works well.. easy install.... does hwat it's supposed to. pricey for what it is though. removing 1 star since it should be half the price I paid

They product seems like it is durable and will stand the test of time. It seems more durable than the flimsy plastic vents you buy at the store.My house is 17 years old was missing a few soffit vents. All my soffits are vented for air flow so this is the only product I found in the market that will push the airflow away from your soffits.I ended up buying and installing 5 of these and they were pretty easy to put in. My only feedback would be to provide some longer screws. Sometimes I was drilling into the slots where the soffit overlaps and I either had to drill at an angle or jam it up in there to hit some soffit material.Other than that, they are a great idea and solved my problem. 5 stars would buy again.

Prior to putting this in, I put a layer of plywood above the soffit vinyl and secured to the fascia board and wall. Then cut the hole and attached the vent from the outside with screws. Then attached a 3 inch pvc street elbow using great stuff foam. The male part of the elbow inserts into the vent flange. Roughed up with sandpaper, it’s pretty solid and the flange on the elbow now gives you something to prevent the flex duct from pulling off. I also put some foam between the flex duct and the pvc fitting and secured with a zip tie to air seal that as well.The only thing, if you do this, after the foam cures, check from the outside for any boogers inside the soffit vent.

Well made and functions great. I painted it before installation, but had to remove paint from the hinge pin to allow the baffle to properly close when not on -- simple to remove that paint.I love that it directs the humid air from my bathroom exhaust vent out away from my home.I'll buy again.

Excellent quality product. The front slides off for easy cleaning. The flange is of a good length to attach the vent pipe to. It comes with 4 screws to attach it to the soffit. The screws are inside the slide off part of the vent. It also has a baffle to prevent air from flowing backwards to the fan motor.
