Minelab CTX 3030 Waterproof Metal Detector Special with 17" Smart Coil

I was a little anxious ordering this item because I had just returned the same item from another seller because it did not work. Added to that, this item was a bit more expensive because it also included the 17 inch coil as well. My fears were all laid to rest once we received the item within 2 days. The Minelab worked great! My husband had an issue with the GPS wireless modem and the seller responded immediately and offered to walk us through setting it up. As it turned out - we needed the wall adapter to charge it properly. It will not power up fully if you attempt to charge it using only the USB port and your computer. Great customer service! I am one very happy customer and highly recommend this seller to anyone looking to purchase a Minelab metal detector.

There is a learning curve, but this machine is advanced and does a lot. It can be adapted to just about any scenario. I recommend getting The CTX 3030 Handbook by Andy Sabisch to study, far better than the manual that comes with it.

I had an intermittent problem with the detector. I called minelab to ask about the problem. They were very professional and had me box up the unit and are working to replace it immediately. Jamie was very helpful and pleasant to work with. Great company, ThankYou

This product is being used for metal detection. There is a high learning curve, but it seems to be very accurate at reading what is below the ground, reads deeper than a base model, and reads multiple items in the same "hole"

Excellent depth and sensitivity, using this for my all-around machine. Easy preset modes to get you going. My second Minelab
