This light was so well thought out, I love it!
I had never wanted a light like this until one of my favorite youtube mechanics was always using one, and I thought that's a pretty convenient light, so I looked for one. This one blew me away because it was so well thought out!The light has different modes, click 1 and the light comes out the tip, click 2 and the bar lights up, both very bright, click 3 and it lights red for emergency if you are on the side of the road, and click 4 flashes the red light, then click 5 turns it off. The nice part is that is if you click them within a few seconds of each other. If you have the light on and then after a little bit click it again, it turns it off without having to cycle through all the lights. The light bar rotates to many different angles, turns completely around so you can direct light anywhere, and it has a magnet at the bottom so you can stick it on any metal part of a car if you are doing mechanic work (assuming you have a car that still has metal in it). Even when it is folded to its closed position, there is a hole in the bottom of the unit next to the magnet. This hole serves two purposes, it is there to help position the light on the charging base and keep it aligned, but also, if you click 1 to turn on the light at the tip of the unit, that light corresponds with the hole and the light shines through and you can use it as a traditional flashlight without having to open it, how slick is that?It comes with a charging base that is powered by a USB-C port. If you happen to be away from your base, there is also a handy port on the unit covered by a rubber cover where you can charge the unit independent of the base, and also has a USB-A port so you can use the unit as a portable power supply should you find yourself in need.As wonderful as all these features are, there is yet one more awesome feature... if you find yourself in need of the light and nothing metal to stick the magnet end to, there is also a hook, and if you pull the base up, you'll feel tension, because the base is designed to be a clamp so you can clamp it to the edge of something to hold it in place. The amount of thought that went into this one simple work light is unbelievable. It is quickly becoming my go-to light when working on my vehicles, and I want to buy one for all of my friends.

LED Work Light, Rechargeable with Magnetic Base
My husband wanted this for when he's taking the dog out at night. It works well and without issue. He's happy with this. He also loves the magnetic part.

Handy and versatile little folding flashlight
When stored, this flashlight folds like a pocket knife to a compact unit. You open the "blade" to reveal the light. This light runs on a built in rechargeable battery. A short USB-A to USB-C charging cable is included but no charger (save those old phone chargers!). I discovered that this light will still operate when charging (not all of these types of lights will do this). I also discovered that the light won't charge when using a charger with a USB-C to USB-C cable (this is pretty common with these types of lights). There is a rather flimsy charging stand included that I have a feeling will get lost in the lifetime of this unit but that should not be a big deal as you can also charge using the USB-C port in the body of the unit. When the light unfolds, it is on a double-articulated hinge (it took me a while to discover this), so by manipulating both hinges, it can swing out about 270 degrees. It can swivel where the hinges mount to the handle to almost, but not quite, 360 degrees. It should be easy to aim the light where you want it.For mounting, you have several options. There is a magnet on the base which on first try, I thought it was not the strongest but as I am writing this, it is sitting on a steel desktop and is clinging pretty strongly. I think a completely flat metal surface is needed. There is a hook that flips out from the base that you can use to hang it upside down like the old mechanic's lights. The base itself is rather strongly spring loaded and pulls out so that you could clip the unit to a shelf up to about 3/4". You can simply let it rest on a level non-metallic surface but, while it doesn't exactly teeter, it can be tipped over with a push. For the lights themselves, you have a COB LED for the length of the "blade" and a small LED flashlight (similar to a phone flashlight) at the tip of the blade. The COB LEDs can be set to white, red or red flashing. The brightness can be variably controlled for the white, red and flashlight. The same control will control the flashing rate for the red flashing mode. At full brightness, the light isn't exactly room filling but is ideal for close-work projects at 2-5 ft. range. This is a great little light to keep around. For what it does, it does well. I like it.
