Good kids book
My son is enjoying our nightly reads and the relatable gaming references. I also fine it funny with old school games included.

What's with the new cover style?
If the bug net still had one charge left, why didn't Max use it on the giant queen? And also, why didn't they save the very expensive, very valuable reality generator thing for an actual emergency?Anyway can't wait for all the new books!

Patience
I'm going to move to a whole different country, have kids, retire from my nonexistent job and when Minecraft finally dies, the future owner of my house will be confused when your package shows up.I do understand most of the references to real life things, like Bill Fence and Critter Crossing and DayFort, but I'm not sure if everyone else understands it. They're relatively easy to understand if you've been well educated for the past few years.Something I have a problem with are Lara Crofts "tests" for Zoe and Max. She claims that one of her tests is for Max to have the correct judgement to abandon his quest to get a bug catching net from Critter Crossing, but it feels wrong for Max to simply give up. Instead, the twins use VGA's resources that VGA members worked hard for to pop the wasps. This doesn't really teach them to persevere and work towards their goal, all it does is show that Zoe and Max can just ask other people to do the work for them.An alternative route that I would prefer is for Max to continue pulling weeds to make into compost and to work to get the three saplings to trade for a bug catching net. That entire part with Critter Crossing is really useless now since all they had to do to past their so-called test was to ask for overpowered weapons from VGA to pop the wasps. It was extremely convenient that they had a bug catching net similar to the one that they were trying to get in Critter Crossing.Meanwhile, Zoe could assess the wasps' weaknesses and recall how the wasps worked in Critter Crossing. I assume it's like some kind of setback that players sometimes will get in the game, but I've never played so I wouldn't know. She obviously can't really take on the wasps on her own, so she could find something on her PIB just like the weird smoke that she seemed to find so conveniently. Except this time it would take some trial and error until she found something useful that the PIB shot. She could also work on convincing the public and the news that nothing was going on, but that might be a lot of work and their public speaking skills weren't so touched on in the first three books so far.So enough of that, now I'll talk about the whole cliffhanger ending relating DoubleStrike77.I think that username does represent something that we don't know yet because I don't think it was a random name from a reviewer or whatever. Although it could just be chosen on random, but we don't really know yet.Their dad should also be somewhat included here because having him as such an important character for the first two books means that he will appear somewhere later. There could be a whole plot twist where VGA were actually the bad guys all along and their mom found out, which is what led to her betraying them. Their dad could be working with VGA, which would be highly unlikely from the plot's perspective, or he could be working against it. Either way, his job would probably be kept a secret from his children if it is extremely important. Also, earlier in book 1 or 2 Cara Loft mentioned that they made their dad's boss tell their dad to do something, and as a result he would return home late. That could also lead to something, or it could have been just a stray comment to show VGA's power or whatever.Either way, they will have to stick with Ibby to find their mom soon and this will all be explained in the next few books. Then there might be a standoff between the two sides, but we will see how this goes.Good to see that the package might be on the way, but it might take a while to arrive since I live on the Moon. Potentially in two years I will receive it, and another two years to return it because the dad joke is outdated. No snow days for me this winter,cløtret
