Nice hinges
These hinges were not soft close as I was hoping but worked out perfect on a cabinet I made. Easy to install and sturdy.

Incorrect product description
These are NOT slow close toy box hinges as advertised. They are for front upward opening wall cabinets. No amount of tightening or adjustment will allow them to safely be used on a toy box lid. The lid will fall with full force after it decends to the 45 degree angle.

Very worth the cost
I use these for metal box test fixtures and they're easy to install and last. They're opened/closed hundreds of times at a crack

Worst instructions
The little instructions printed on the bag is worthless and confusing. The video is just as worthless. Makes it look easy but it's not. I gave up after 1/2 hr trying to figure it out.

These work well
I lost my twin. I refinished a cedar chest to keep some of his belongings in and the lid hardware I got previously was garbage. The slightest deviation and they bound up and bent.These have remained functional regardless of variation in travel.Also the soft close function just feels more appropriate than having the chest slam shut after a somber trip down memory lane.

Smooth quality finish, good hinges
Intended for smaller wooden tool chests, these have a nice finish to them, are solid and generally seem to be made well. An easy fix for lids that can slam down on little fingers.
