I got this for my boyfriend for Christmas as he has cheese toasties every day for lunch and knives aren’t the best for cutting through big blocks.He loves this slicer. It is nice and light but has a good ergonomic handle so it’s comfy to hold. The blade is super sharp and the perfect width for the depth of a standard 400g block of cheese (cathedral for example). Can also use it to cut and scoop softer cheeses on a cheese board.It’s good for smoother cheeses as anything too mature or crumbly will fall apart if you try and use it. We’ve tried it up to a mature cheddar and it works perfectly. Nice thin slices for snacking or melting fast in a toastie.It’s pretty small so fits easily in a cupboard.Relatively cheap and seems like it’ll last a very very long time so great value for money.

The best utensil for getting a nice citrus peel for twists, spritz and garnish for cocktails. However, it's my expectation that all stainless steel items should be dishwasher safe, oherwise you'd buy plated alloys and hand wash. I didn't read if its supposed to go in the dishwasher or not but frankly I don't care. This utensils handle fills with water. I will be drilling a small hole at the bottom myself and deburring it so the water can drain away. Surprised it's not part of the design with a hollow handle.

The media could not be loaded. Simple to use. Doesn’t require much effort to get a nice slice.Safer than a knife.Easy to clean. All metal construction. Despite smooth handle, I get a good enough grip. Sharp enough for cheese.Goes in my knife drawer without taking up much space.It does a very good job.

Its a cheese slicer... What I love is that it is an all in one piece so no chance of the handle breaking which is a problem I have had with all other slicers in recent years.Lightweight in your hand but substantial enough its easy to slice through hard cheddars.

And so much more. Very sturdy and sharp tool that's been used to peel spuds and slice carrots amongst other things.Handy tool to have in the kitchen

Disappointed about the size but overall they are good quality, and will do the job even though will look miniatures compared to my other 2 knives :-D

I bought this following a trip to Italy, when Parmesan shavings became a necessity in my attempt to cook Italian. It is fairly priced and does the job admirably, creating lovely thin slices of Parmesan (and other cheeses). It does suggest that you can vary the thickness by angling the slicer but I struggle to see how this is possible (or necessary). Simple, stylish, effective and decent value.
